Yes this is my line also. John , the brother of James is my ancestor. I was in touch with McEvit relatives in Canada and they tell me that Alice married twice and had a lot of children. I do have the details which I would be happy to share with you. Incidemtally June and James split up and he went off too America. but he returned some years later. Alice married in burnley then they both emigrated too Canada. If you would care to send me your E Mail address I will see what Info you have and will share mine

Regards Pearl

I noticed your lonely post of last fall. I am looking for a family who used the spelling Denbeigh except when someone shortened it to Denby. What I have so far is an Isaac Denbeigh born England about May 1836, in OR, USA by April 1865 when he married, in CA 1868 when applied to citizenship, in NM Terr, then in CO by 1878. Homestead and naturalization papers have no family history such as birthplace, etc, except to state England. Family lore links this family to that of a Northern Welsh family with connections to an alpaca woolen mill.
Any ideas, hints, connections??
Nancie
