Anyone know anything about Joe Dennie, born in Greenock Scotland, his father was supposed to be a seaman born in Clydebank, 1800's. This person was supposed to have emmigrated to Canada to Clydeforks in Lanark County, sure would appreciate any info. I have conflicting genealogy about his origin, he was my great grandfather.

My father is a Dennie, he lived in Kentucky aswell. Never met him though, his name was Kelly if anyone has info on him.

My Grandfather is where I got my last name from, and his side of my family lives in Kentucky. So there might be some connection. Our last name originated in Italy, it was changed when they came to America; it used to be Deno or Denno...not sure on the spelling.

My grand father was James Comadore Myres (J.C.) b.1-28-1886 Newton Co.Mo. d.2-2-1972 Kansas City Mo.
Herbert Dennie came to the funeral.
I heard Herbert passed several years ago
There was some very close connection with these two people
but nobody knew what it was
On J.C. Myres obit it has Herbert Dennie as a foster brother
from Pampa Texas

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Staff Sgt. Mike A. Dennie, 31, of Fayetteville, N.C., died Sept. 29 in Balad, Iraq, from injuries sustained on Sept. 22 in Baghdad, Iraq, when the driver of his military vehicle pulled off the road and lost control, causing it to roll over. Dennie was assigned to the 106th Finance Battalion from Kitzingen, Germany.

I am looking for information on Arthur Grenier and Josephine Dennie. My father recently passed away and he was doing research into the Prudhomme's. But I can not find information on the Dennie. They lived in Menominee, Wi in the late 1800"s. Arthur was born in 1876 Aug. 10 in Mas Rinonge County.(i think this is Canada). It also has the name.... St. Antoune de la Riviere du Loup...don't know what that is either......
Any info on the Dennie's or Greniers would be greatly appreciated

Looking for any infromation about Annie Dennie/Denny who was married to a Clay Lawson in Charlotte N.C. She died between 1930-1935 in Charlotte. She gave birth to one daughter in Sept. of 1930. Her mother's first name was Sarah. Would appreciate any infromation.

I found the following information in an obituary in the Watertown Daily Times while researching Dennee/Dennie family:

John Baptiste Dennee, husband of Matilda Marie Amo, died 4/29/1912, in Watertown. Their children were Roy, Mary Emma, and 2 who were not named in the article.

Matilda was also married to Peter Dejourdan. Their child was Marie DeJourdan.

Matilda was also married to (unknown) Tracy, and had a son or step-son Jack Tracy.

, I was certainly glad to seeyour Query I have beensearching for my Grandmothers family for Two yrs, Her name is Jennie E. Booth , Her father was John, her mother was Jennie Caffrey, she died in1886 when my Grandm. was 4.
My g,mother married Ansel Sawyer, they moved to MaineAbt. 1900 they came back in 1927 because she wanted to be closer to her family, she died in 1942 Ansel d. in 1927. they are burried in Watertown, NY. Please if this is farmiliar let me know. Thank You janet michel

I'm searching for Roy Dennie b. 1911 the son of John R. Dennie who d. in Watertown, N.Y. John R. Dennie married a woman by the name of Addie. After the death of John R. Dennie his wife moved to Toledo, Ohio with their children.

The children of John R. and Addie Dennie are Roy who married a woman by the name of Ruth b. 1912, Mary Emma Dennie b. 1917 who md. Russell Floyd, Wilam and Herbert. Herbert was killed in accident as boy.

I am looking for my great grand father Dennie or the spelling was changed from Dennee to Dennie. He lived in Cape Vincent, New York with my great grand mother and both of them are buried in the cemetery in Cape Vincent. His first name may be either William or Thomas. They had at least one son named Thomas who moved from there to Oswego,New York and married Isabella Goewey. Thomas was born in Cape Vincent in 1886. My great grand mother's name is unknown to me.
