Searching the archives of this list, I've seen a few references to my Elisha DeWitt, but nothing for the last several years. It appears that the expert on this line was Kathryn DeWitt Gazaway.

Does anyone have a copy of her notes on this family? Does anyone have good source records pertaining to this family (especially information passed down through your family)?

Elisha DeWitt is one supposed son of Paulus DeWitt (bap 24 MAR 1727/28 at the Readington DRC, Somerset, NJ) and Catherine DePuy (c 1728, Kingston, Ulster, NY)

I may descend from his daughter Margaret DeWitt (c 1794 KY), who married Mason Edward Carter 25 DEC 1817 in Perry Co., IN.

I've also seen that some DNA testing has been done, and that some of the participants are also descendants of Paulus and Catherine. Does anyone know if any are descendants of Elisha?

Anyone else an Elisha descendant? I'd love to share notes.
