I have back to 1410 but would not say for sure that it is correct.
I have never seen any proof to who John's parents were. He is in Tennessee on the 1850 census, listing North Carolina as his birthplace. He dies in 1860. Samuel shows on the 1880 census that his father was born in Kentucky, the 1900 & 1910 as being born in North Carolina.
There is a family story that says that Samuel's grandmother was drowned on their way here from Ireland. When the story was told, which grandmother was he talking about, could it have been great-grandmother? That would make more sense.
My mother told me her grandfather was a twin, turned out to be her great-grandfather, Samuel Fleming. She told me this before I was doing research. Proving stories can be interesting. Most of them have truth in them, but also left out and added information. Makes researching interesting.

Thank you very much. Do you have any information beyond John & Nancy Combs Fleming? I have some notations that John came from Dublin Ireland, the youngest of 11 sons, That he and Nancy married in 1812 in Van Buiren County, TN and he died 7/6/1860 in Spencer, Van Buren County TN. His Father possibly Randall Fleming; Mother Mary Edwards Logue Fleming???

John & Nancy Combs Fleming are their parents. Have been researching this family for many years.
I just did some checking on ancestry.com. They show that William & C S Dillworth were married in Washington County Tennessee instead of Van Buren County. I then checked for Dillworth in Washington county and found on the 1860 census a James A Dillworth (b. abt. 1798) with wife Charlotte (b. abt. 1803). There is also information showing that James & Charlotte died at Jonesboro, Tennessee. I think this could possibly be the parents of C. S. Dillworth and her name may have been Charlotte.

Dillworth? Parents for William and Samuel I show as John Fleming and Nancy Combs (parents Mason Combs Jr and Dorothy Mason)

I am only just beginning to search my family tree. Charlotte, or Lottie, Dillworth and Jesse Ellsworth Scott are my great-grandparents. They lived in Hicksville, OH in the early 1900's. Jesse died there in 1907. They had 6 children: Ruth, Hershel, Leo, Damon (my grandfather), Paul (died as an infant), Homer and John. Lottie & the kids left Hicksville in 1911 or 1912 & moved to Eugene, OR. Any one with any info or connection, please email me. Thank You, Berta

I am a Goodson researcher, but thought that someone may be interested in some tax receipts that I got from E-bay. These are tax receipts made out to a C.E. Dillworth of Goodson, Virginia. I will also be posting scans of these at http://goodson-family.com/pictures.html.
