Paul: Got your message. Did you actually find a Luciae Doner. If so what do you have on her. I can find no record of her anywhere. If she was born in 1871, there is no possible way that she was married to Thomas Loya Sr. I will send you an email on what Info I have on Thomas Doner.

The Thomas Doner and Sophia that you mention here are my great, great, great grandparents. The had a son Lawrence born in 1844 in Canada was my grandfathers father. I have traced them back to the 1600's. my current email is bigfoot148@adelphia.net if you would like more info on this side of the family.

I found her under Ancestry.com when I searched for "George Loya", my husband's grandfather. This source states that Luciae Doner is daughter of Andrew Doner (parents Thomas Doner and Sophia Goreline) and Nancy Patneau (parents Charles Patneau and Julia Coats). I do not know the sources for this information. George Loya was son of Thomas Loya Jr and Jessie Doaner and grandson of Thomas Loya Sr. and Luciae Doner. Hope this helps. Mary

George Loya married my Great Aunt Cora Swenor. She died in 1956 of cancer. George's father's name was Thomas Loya who married Jessie Donah. Jessie died 5/8/44. Thomas's other children: Danny, Thomas (DOB: 7/14/16, Died 7/71), Harry, Pauline.

Pauline Loya was my mother she died July 28/1957 .My father was Wilfred Blanchard he died July 17/ 1981
