For those of us related to Daniel Dod (1615 - 1666), here is a .jpeg from the Essex archives of Thomas Dod's last will and testament. It is mentioned in the genealogy book, too.

Thomas Dod was Daniel Dod's father.

I am John Dod, 1st son of John Alfred Dod and oldest sibling from his 2nd marriage. I am living in Rochester, NY. I have recently retired. I am planning to visit the UK sometime this year and was researching the Dod family in the Isle of Man, one of the places I intend to visit. I came across this posting that you replied to back in 2006. Like you state it is somewhat confusing. I knew that my father had been previously married and had two children.
Although I often thought about making contact but was sure if I should do so. However, from your reply to the post, it it appears that you might like to make contact. I would be happy to make contact. I look forward to your response.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the 1997 supplement to Genealogy and History of the Daniel Dod Family in America?

Unfortunately Avlyn passed away before I could order a copy from her and Don Yeskey never got back in touch with me.

hi,
i am looking for john dod. he has a sister called jill and last known living in south carolina. he is aged between 60-65 years old. his father also named john alfred dod is my grandfather born int the isle of man making john and jill my aunt and uncle!!! i have never met them and only found out they exsisted about a month ago and i am desperatly trying to track them down. please please if you know anything please let me know thanx xx

I am his daughter. Jill and John were siblings but there were no other children except from his fathers 2nd marriage. It is very confusing. How are you related to John A. Dod? Please contact me.
