Looking for the family of Amanda Dodds, I think maybe her father was Joseph Dodds. She was born September 24, 1824 in Jefferson County. Married James Hicks, February 9, 1837 and had the following children. Susan Elizabeth, my gg-grandmother, John W, Martha A, Isaac, Newton & Joesph. She died, December 10, 1902 in Bald Hill Twp, Jefferson Co, IL and is buried in Hickory Hill Cemetery, Jefferson Co, IL.....Any information would be deeply appreciated......errol
