woops! something wrong with this picture. John Dodds and Susan Wallace were my great, great grandparents. Their son Joseph died at the age of two in 1845 Jefferson County, IL. They moved to Lee County, IA in about 1851 and then to Van Buren County where they remained. John's brother was named Joseph, he died in 1831 in Jefferson County, IL (according to his will). He married Mary (Polly) Wallace in 1819. She re-married after his death to a James Quinn in 1832 who was about 23 years older than her. She was found on the 1870 census with John Dodds and Emeline Keller Dodds and family she was 70.
