Iam Gale Longshore daughter in law iam married to foster scott I would love a copy of Elizabeth luce or luse picture I assume foster grandma was named after Elizabeth Dorultha JUST REVERSE the name Dorthula Elizabeth Johnson I got to met Dorthy about three times she was a sweet grandma. i sure do miss her.Foster use to call her once a week. I am looking for information on Eunice Downham who married Arthur Newsholme on 2nd Sept. 1933. She was born 5th May 1907 in Burnley Lancashire and died 1990 at Hyndburn & Rossendale.

I am researching for her granddaughter, my friend, but just can't seem to overcome the post 1901 problem

I would be grateful for any help.

Thomas Downham and Ann Slocom/Slocum of Kent Co Delaware

My 5th great grandfather Isaac White born 4 June 1752 Kent Co Delaware moved to Guilford Co NC and was living there during the revolution. He married Sarah Vaughn there 1775.

I have a copy of the following with no location:
Oct 25 1774
I sign over my right, title of the within note to ISAAC WHITE
JOHN WHITE
attest JOFEPH SLOCOM

We know there were no Slocom's in Guilford Co North Carolina. I am trying to establish where Isaac was living when this transaction took place and suspect it may have been in Kent Co Delaware.

page 294 Slocom, Benjamin.Yeoman. Murderkill Hd. Admin. of,
to Joseph Slocom, next of kin. Dec. 20, 1774. Arch. vol. A46, pages 236-237. Reg. of Wills, Liber L, folio 159. Note:Arch. vol. A46, page 237
mentions heirs, Ann Downam (wife of Thomas Downam), Thomas Green, Mary, Elizabeth, John & Joseph Slocom,  Marcollester

I found some information that a Benjamin Slocum married a Elizabeth White and was from Dartmouth, Massachusetts

Can anyone possibly help me with the Slocom's in Kent Co? There may be a tie between this Joseph Slocom who attested to this transaction between Isaac White and probably his brother John White.

There is a William White who died in Kent Co Delaware who had a son Isaac and am trying to make a connection to these families.

Lydia DOWNHAM married William BAKER in Berkshire in the early 1800's. Their 8th child Lydia was born about 1820 in Bray Berkshire. Lydia married William DANCE in Berkshire and had Richard. I would love to make contact with anyone related or who has a connection in any way. I know nothing and would love to make progress.

Thomas Downham & Mary Slinger are my eight times Gt.G'parents also, then Thomas & Susanna Jay, Ruben & Abigail, Thomas & Fanny Hebden, Thomas & Ellen Harrison, then Elizabeth married Robert Stainsby & had a son James Stainsby who married Susanna Williamson.
