My name is William Mizobe, according to my mother, my father is Jesus San Nicolas Duenas, he is from Inarajan, Guam. He was a US navy sailor during the Korean war. He served in a Naval ship named garnas bay or something that sounded like that. He was stationed here in Japan where he met my mother. He has a brother named Jaime, who was also a sailor during that time. For some reason my Mother never saw my father again. My mother went back to the Philippines in 1954. We have been asking for information about my father for a long time now, any information that you can give us will be highly appreciated.

I am also researching the DUENNES surname. Seems to be rather uncommon. My Great Granmother was Anna DUENNES. I think the families came from Germany, Belgium or another germanic place. I believe they originally settled in the Cincinnatti OH area but there are others in KY, IN, OH and IL. I have some info on the Oak Park DUENNES. I don't yet know how they relate to mine

kevin

Maybe this is a stupid thing to offer, but I just felt bad when I saw your message (it may be because that was my maiden name).
