I am sorry to say that I do not believe there is a connection. My Eliza Newton that married George W. Duncan had the following children:
Robert 1869
Willie 1872
Thomas 1874
Dallas 1877
Emmaline 1879
Claude 1882
Hugh 1884
Ralph 1885.
The last time I can find any members of this branch of family they are living in Indiana. I honestly don't know of any connections between Duncan's and Christian's. Sorry.
