I was wondering if anyone can tell me what happened to Janet and Jeanette Dunford, Michael J Dunford's twin sisters. Would appreciate any information.

Michael (Mick) Dunford was my great uncle. Michael Dunford emigrated to the US at 18, arriving at Ellis Island on 9 June 1909 on the ship ‘SS Teutonic’. In 1917, Michael Dunford enlisted and served in the US Army as a Sergeant with Company M, 108th Infantry Regiment, 27th Division and was wounded in combat in France in World War I.
Dunford died in 2011 and is, I believe, a cousin -- the son of a Michael "Mick" Dunford of Bohadoon, Dungarvan, County Waterford, who emigrated to Auburn, New York, fought in the 108th Infantry in World War I, and moved to Wisconsin.
Hi Michael! I am Peggy Dunford Woodward. My father's Uncle was Thomas Dunford , Charlie Will's Father. Are you aware that William Albert Dunford fought in the Civil War? As well as about 38 other Dunfords? When Cousin Charlie visited me in Yorktown, VA in 1983 he told me that we had ancestors who fought in the Rev. War. Do you know who they were? He also said that one was an officer! I would love to exchange Dunford Ancestor Info with you! Do you live in Tazewell? My brother Luther used to drive for Uncle Tom in the 1940's. Thank you for helping me. Peggy. 2-14-2011.
