I am researching Rademann's and noticed you have a Loretta Rademann in your post. Do you know where in Germany or Poland the Rademann's came from? Other names I am researching are Dorn, Prag, Zahn, Zastrow, Radank, Struck, and Braun. I have run across some Rademann's in North Carolina, but do not know if they are connected. My Rademann's settled in Wisconsin, but I would be interested to know what area yours are from. Please contact me at: lindar1509@verizon.net

Thank You.
My grandfather Norman Dunlap (1855-1915) was the son of John W Dunlap (1830-1875). All lived in Coatesville, Chester County, PA. You might also check the descendents the Dunlap who printed the copies of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia,PA. Finally, there is a website for the Chester County Historical Society. I found marriage records there.

Wanda Dunlap daughter of Robert Westfall Higgins who died 1981 NM

I just recently received the obit for Robert Westfall Higgins who died January 1981 in Albuquerque NM. The obit does NOT mention where is was buried.

I had info prior to receiving the obit I had info that he had been married 3 times:
1) Bertie Ann Worth married 1933, Divorced 1935 no children
2) Hilda Irene Rhodes married 10/14/1940 ....divorced. They had 2 children Alexander Robert and Mary Lou
3) Betty Hogue (or Hoage)...they had a daughter Robert Lou.

In the obit for Robert it lists his children. 7 daughters, which makes it hard to know who exactly belonged to which marriage...or if the girls were from a wife's previous marriage. 2 Sons.

He was survived by his wife Betty Higgins.....Hogue (or Hoage)

Children:
1) Wanda Dunlap of Albuquerque
2) Betty Houston of Edgewood
3) Pamela Bakke of Albuquerque
4) Cathy Smith of Albuquerque
5) Michelle Cordova of Edgewood
6) Roberta Higgins of Albquerque....(mother Betty Hogue)
7) Peggy Hogue of Virginia ...daughter from Betty's previous marriage????
8) James Hogue...son from Betty's previous marriage??...Hazelton, PA
9) David Hill...How does Hill fit in??? Albuquere

The info I had prior said there were 2 children from the marriage to Hilda Irene Rhodes...Alexander Robert and Mary Lou, but neither of these names were listed in the obit.

It would be so nice to know how all of the children mentioned in Robert's obit fit into his marriages.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated,
Anna

Do you have any information on John (JW)Dunlap married to Lonnie Bell Bush? They were married in Alabama Henry Co. Had 4 boys and 2 girls. They both died in Norm Holmes Fla very young and Dillla Bush (Lonnies mom) took the remaining children that was still living. Several of the children also died within a year and one was 8 or 9. My grandfather William Jackson (Jack) Dunlap was the oldest but he died at 42 and i never met him. I've been looking for informatiom on them for 15 years now and cant find JW's parents or if he had any siblings. I have more info on the Bush side but it stops with William (Lonnie's father) born 1851, I think. I would appreciate any information you could give me. Thanks Janet

I'm Scott Richard Copey. My dad is Paul Richard Copey. He and his deceased brother Fred were sons of Paul Richard Dunlap and Sarah Penoyer of Clifton Springs New York. Sarah later married Andrew Copey who adopted my father and his brother.

We recently vistied Arlington Cemetery and saw Paul Richard Dunlap's grave. I'm unaware of the circumstances under which Mr. Dunlap and my grandmother parted ways. If my dad knows, he doesn't say.

Insulated by a few generations, I'm simply curious as to what happened. Was Paul Richard Dunlap married to Martha in West Virginia at the same time he was married to my grandmother in New York? Are there half brothers/sisters?

Seeking any descendants of James M. & Elizabeth Carter Dunlap. I'm not related that I know of but my ancestor Margaret Hunt was living with this family in 1860 In Dekalb County,TN. I have also found in 1850 Census in Walker County,Georgia Margaret Hunt Household there is a James M. Holcombe listed same Birthplace same birth year living with Margaret. This James matches James M. Dunlap perfectly.

I have questions as to why she (Margaret) was living with them. Also wondering if any one in this family has a photo of Margaret? There was one among Georgia family but it has become lost. Maybe one lies within this family as she made her home with them. Margaret's maiden name was Bowen Please email me directly jimmyhunt93@yahoo.com

This is my family down to Robert Walker Dunlap. I just found info, don't see confirmed sources yet, of James's father, also James and married to a Sarah Jane Luckie.
From Robert Walker and Catherine Wimer, I go down James Harvey Dunlap and Angeline Moore (my great grandparents). I'd be happy to share any of my info with you if I can help.

I am searching my Dunlap lineage. I have traced my family line back to a Jacob Dunlap (abt 1805) from upstate New York (Erie county, buffalo area). He married a Lucy (maiden name unknown). His link to me is his son Noah Wesley Dunlap (abt 1834) who married a Lucy Battles. I am trying to find the link back to Scotland. If you have any information I would be very appreciative if you could contact me. Thank you, Christopher Dunlap
