John was a convict arrived in Australia and married Jane Gittens in 1808. They had at least 8 children in Australia. &lt;br&gt;Trying to prove the James and Ann marriage.</description>

      <description>John Durrington sometimes known as Dorrington born about 1772 in Essex, England was sentenced by Essex Quarter Sessions to 7 years Transportation, for stealing one silk handkerchief, one linen shirt, a pair of leather shoes and a common prayer book on 24 January 1879 at Ingrave.&lt;br&gt;Arrived Colony of Sydney in 28 August 1791 in "William and Ann" as part of the "Third Fleet".&lt;br&gt;He became a convict landowner.&lt;br&gt;We are looking for his parents and earlier ancestors.</description>
