My 4th G Grandfather, Jacob Earnest/Ernst descends from Indian
Eve. I do not have proof of which child of Indian
Eve he descends from but it may be Jacob. I have seen trees out there that show a Jacob with a son named Jacob and no additonal information on him. I suspect this may be my Jacob.
Anyway you can find him on the 1850 Census living in Southampton Twp,
Somerset Co, PA. I have a copy of his will and I descend from his daughter Christina (Lina) (she married
Moses BITTNER) I am trying to find who his Jacob's sibilings were and prove his parents.I have recently purchsed the book sold by the
Bedford Co. Historical & Genological Society, They Planted a Tree in the Wilderness by Thomas C. Imler.
