Most of our relatives in the US came from a mid 1700's immigrant to America

Still hoping to find some more information on my Eller family relatives who moved from Frankfurt in Germany to London in the 1800's. Henry- b1796 (farmer) & sons Conrad b1818 (Fur Skin Dresser) & Casper b1816 (Boilermaker/Engineer).
Were there any relatives that went to the USA? Does anyone have any info or photos of ANYONE even distantly related? PLEASE!!!

Henry Eller from Frankfurt Germany was my 4th great grandfather, his sons Casper & Conrad were also from Frankfurt, Casper Henry was my 3rd great grandfather.
Have you found anything out about them?

My great grand parents were John Tally b.abt.1817 GA and Anna Jane Eller b.abt.1817 NC. They died in Abbeville, AL. Their first son was George Washington Tally he died in Ohio in 1908.

I made an error in my last message and wish to correct it. I stated that William Eller's place of birth was KY, but North Carolina is better supported by the records.

There is another William Eller, b. 1831 from North Carolina, who often appears on searches, but he died in the Civil War, therefore, is not my ancestor who immigrated, by what seems a rather roundabout route, to Oklahoma.

I still seek the parents of both William and his wife, Mariah J. Ritter Eller.

Although cemetery records indicate that the Ellers are buried in block 32, I found only the stone for E.F. Eller's mother, Mariah J. Ritter.

Inscription reads:

Mariah J. Ritter
Born
Feb. 14 1831
Died
Feb 28, 1908

I am currently searching for information about the earlier times of Mariah's life. Census records reveal she was born in Kentucky, which she states on, at least, three separate documents. Her husband's name was William Eller, also born in KY, in or very close to 1831, but I don't have anymore information about his family either.

I would like to find the ancestors of this couple, perhaps a date for their marriage, also, information on what they were doing together between around 1850 and 1870.

Any help is warmly appreciated.

William was the son of John Eller and Catharine Eldreth. He was born in 1871. I believe it was in Ashe Co. Some of his siblings were John Eller (1863); Deamma Eller (1871; and Lodemia Eller (1876. America Taylor Eller was the daughter of William H Taylor and Martha C Stevens. Some of her siblings were Margaret (1876); Sarah J (1878), Harrison (1882) and Manerva (1885). Any information and help is very much appreciated!

Hi. Nothing at all. My sister-in-law is going to NC after the first of the year to do some research on their side. She said she would see if she could come up with anything. She is really good at digging things up. She is also going to check on Levi to see if she can come up with anything. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. The Brown Family Cemetery is located just north of Clifton, North Carolina off Hwy 88. It is on Rich Hill Road which is a right hand turn off Hwy 88 at Fig, North Carolina.

Born approx 1865 to Levi and Elizabeth Davis. I believe he was born in Wilkesboro. He was married to Elizabeth Houck in Ashe.They later divorced. Their children were John Walter, Henry Harvey, Bessie Geneva, Charles S. (died in WWI) and Willie. All children were born later 1800's/early 1900's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Am looking for info on Mary Eller. This is my gggrandmother. Have been looking for several years and just stumbled on some info. 1941 Jackson Co. Tenn. Death Cert for Eliza W Stafford (Headdy) has Mary Eller listed as mother and William Heady listed as father. William Heady's mother married a Peter Eller and lived in Overton Co. Tenn. I think they had 3 children together or they could possibly be Sarah's(Peter's daughter) William Heady married his other daughter Mary. As far as I can tell Mary passed soon after the 1870 Jackson Co. Tenn census and William married a Sarah Jane Poe (From NC) in Overton Co. Tn. in Feb 1872. On the 1870 Overton Tn. census Peter has his youngest daughter Martha who married a George W Pigg living in his HH and I think Sarah age 28. Martha's Jackson Co. Tenn. death cert has a Peter Eller listed as her father and mother as Sallie Weaver. On the 1880 Ashe NC census Peter, Abby and Eliza W Heddy (Grandaughter) are listed with Luke Eller (brother?) next door William Heddy and George Pigg also. George Washington Pigg married Martha Eller in Overton Co. Tenn in 1867. Does anyone know anything about Peter's father and mother.

I knew who Eliza Heady was but didn't have nothing on her mother. All I could find was the 1870 census for William, Mary and Eliza Heady. Once I found what Mary's maiden name was I knew a family of Eller's had lived for 100 yrs in the west part of Jackson County Tn. A Susan Eller b a1825 d1926 and her daughter Sallie Holliman had lived in Granville, Tn. I think Susan's husband was William?

Although your inquiry is a little confusing, I think you can find answers by contacting the Eller Family Association. Their website is www.eller.org. They print a news letter called the Eller Chronicles that I think will have all or most of the info you are needing.

I believe Adah Eller is a grandchild of Worth Newman Eller. Adah's father I believe is Jacob Newman Eller who lived in Sevier County Arkansas, Jacob and his wife Amanda I believe died when Adah and her twin Maude were very small children. My husbands mom was born south of Ardmore Oklahoma.
