My Mother is Joyce Ellinor. from Wisbech My grandfather was Louis Ellinor had a brother SId lived in March. I know he had older brothers fom Manea area. My grandmother now 100 is Annie Ellinor her children Ron,Joyce and Sidney(deceased)

My paternal grandfather was J.D. Ellinor (Joseph Dorman). I believe he was born and raised in Havana, FL. He had a sister, Margarite and a brother, Joe.

Our family grew up and still are in Tallahassee, FL. This side of the family never had family reunions and therefore I do not know the history of my family.

I am very interested if anyone knows any of these people.

So is my husband Keith Ellinor we are thinking of going back to Gislingham to find the Ellinors that still live there to see if they know the origins of the Ellinor family. John Ellinor was his G Grandfather and William was his GGrandfather and his own Grandfather was william known as Bill from Gislingham Janice Ellinor

I have an Anne Ellinor born abt 1603 in England who married a Richard Chaney and immigrated to Anne Arundal Co., MD. I have her father listed as Bartholomew Ellinor and her mother as Alice Effermont. I have absolutely nothing further. If anyone has anything further I would greatly appreciate the information.

My GGGrandmotther was Harriet Ellinor b.28/05/1886

To date I've been unable to link the only Ellinor family in Cambridgeshire to the many Ellinors in Suffolk. I know that my Ellinors started in Cranwich, Norfolk but due to missing parish records I can't progress any further back. I'm sure that somewhere there's a link to though. I don't know what else to suggest.

My gt. grandfather was William Ellinor born 1st Oct 1872 in Gislingham Suffolk. Father John Ellinor, mother, Mary Ann Hammond.
As yet the searching I've done on this side of the family is sketchy so don't know if there is any connection further back which would link with Cambs.
