Hi. I believe I may be related to the Charlie Harra in your photo. My grandfather's name was Charles Emmanuel Harra. He grew up in the Richmond, VA area in 1870s (a farm just outside of Richmond). Emma, Alice, and Josephine (Josie) are all names in our family. My grandfather died in Tampa, Florida in 1943. He was 75 years old when he died, so he would have been born around 1868, so the man in your photo was probably his father, Charles, who immigrated from Austria (we think) around that time. If any of this adds up to what you've discovered, I'd be very interested. I would especially be interested in the photos. My name is Alice Harra and I live in Chicago, ILL. 708-837-1195.
