I am looking for info on my great Grandmother Clotilde Encarnacion Walker. She was from Loiza, Canovanas and I was told her family was also from the Canary Islands. I havent found anything on her parents as of yet. Wondering if this might be the same Encarnacion family.

My grandparents were Encarnacions from Sao Miquels in the Azores. There names were Manual born abt 1876 and Maria Souza or Sousa (maiden name) born abt 1888. They migrated through Ellis Island and had 3 children in the Mass Rhode Island area. I am starting research and have found nothing.

I am searching for my grandfather Javier Roman's (real name Gabriel Velez) mothers family. Her name was Tomasa Encarnacion and she married Juan Velez Roman. Her mother was Eusebia Encarnacion, she was married to man by the last name of Pinone. From what I know my grandpa Javier was born in Luquillo, Puerto Rico. I don't know if you still take a look at this website but I am hoping you do.

My father's family is from Canovanas, Puerto Rico and I can only go back to my grandfather's father. Here's what I have.

Victorio Encarnacion (maarried Cruz Lopez) and had 4 children

- Antero, Irenee, Andres, and Maximino
- Only Maximino went on to have children - they are listed below with the number of children they had in parenthesis. I am one of Antero's 2 children.

Ignacia (2), Teresa (2), Emeterio (3), Carmelo (2), Antero(2) and Aurora(6).

Would love to know more about Marcos and understand where he fit in (if at all) - I am assuming he may have been a sibling or cousin of Victorio.

I realize it's been 10 years since your posting, but I just started researching my family tree and my great-great-grandfather was Toribio Hernandez y Encarnacion. He was Vicente's brother. I was able to find that their mother's name was Batazara Encarnacion and their father is Juan Hernandez. Does this match what you have? I hear from my grandma that they were islenos (of Canary Island descent). Any additional information would be greatly appreciated!

my fathre is jose espiritu encarnacion born on june 15, 1931 in dansalan, lanao del sur. his parents were named marciano and natividad encarnacion. their ancestral home is in baroy, lanao del norte. i don't know either the family tree of encarnacion's coz what i know that they really are a big family. i don't know if you know my father. we are from the phils.

I am an Encarnacion from Puerto Rico and I am hoping to link some of my family with any currently out there or assist in filling up voids. I just started my research and so far, I havent found anyone from my Encarnacion family line out there.

Names to look for that may have to do with my Encarnacion branch tree:

Jose Encarnacion - Correa (born in 1920's)
Juan Encarnacion (multiple. middle names of Jose and Antonio starting from 1950's)
Luz Alamo (1920's)
Gabriel Alamo (1900's)
Justa ________ (1900s)

My Father had a relationship when he was 17 with his bosses daughter. She became pregnant and disappeared soon after. She was rumored to have had a son. My father found it too painful to talk about since he thought that there would be no hope in finding them. No one would speak to him on the subject. When I found out about it, I approached him, but by then, he was dying of colon cancer and unfortunately had no accurate memory of her first name (all he could come up with was Amaira?) but her last name was Encarnacion at the time. My fathers name was Gustavo Malave Sanchez and he was born in Las Piedres, Puerto Rico.

I would like to get a copy of that. My father had a relationship with a young lady who was his bosses daughter. She became pregnant and then disappeared. Her family supposedly had sent her away. He has since passed away and since his memory was fading towards the end, he was unable to accurately recall her first name, although he mentioned Amaira to me and one other name that I never got a chance to write down. He had heard rumors that she had given birth to a boy and I would like to find my brother. My dad's name is Gustavo Malave Sanchez. He was born on Dec 28, 1944 or close to that year. I cant find his death certificate because I have recently moved but he was born in Las Piedras, PR and his parents names were Justino Malave and Juana Sanchez. Hi,
Looking for information about a story my father told me when I was a child about a relative with a last names Correa Agosto, I found your reference to someone who participated in the defeat of the English invasion attempt of Puerto rico in 1797.
The story my father told me tell of a relative burning the sugar cane field in Puerto Rico while fleeing for political reasons.

I wonder if in your story this incident happend.
My great grandfather was Juan Bautista Landron married to Claudina Agosto.

My Dad's family is from Bukana Naic Cavite. Manuel Sablan Encarnacion is my Dad--his parents are Hilario and Brigada Encarnacion. Lolo Hilario had a brother, Roque, a sister Ina and more I don't remember..

One of my Materanl Great Grandfathers was Raimundo Encarncion Correa, who was born in Canovanas, but later resided in Barrio Barrazas in Carolina. By the way, there several Loiza(of which Canovanas was part of) militia with the surnames of Encarnacion and Correa who participated in the defeat of the English invasion attempt of Puerto Rico in 1797.

Encarnacions of Antique Philippines which basically came from Cavite in the
person opf a Spanish military officer named CLUWALDO ENCARNACION who was
reassigned in our province bringing along with his two sons. he has a
son from his aeta house helper named ANASTACIO ENCARNACION from which i
