Hi I was just informed of your post looking for Eppinette"s of Richland Parish. Im Ed Harrison son of E.V. Traxler (Harrison) Carl. Nephew of your gradmother Eunice, 1st cousin of your mother and your 2nd cousin.We are not Eppinette's but come from your grandmothers side of your tree. I live in Louisville Ohio, Married with two sons. I have two sisters, Theresa and Linda. One deceased brother, Joseph.
Your uncle Claude Richard should have much of the info you are looking for.
Would love to exchange genealogy with you. I remember great fun with your brother and his BB guns. However, I can't remember his name. 50 yrs. leads to cobwebs.

I am working on the Campbell genealogy.I was searching for my friends genealogy his 1st great grandparents were John W. Campbell & Mary Elizabeth Voss. I searched and this shows John's parents as William Campbell. William parents were Joseph Campbell & Mary C. ? It shows that Amanda Campbell was a sister to William Lindsey Campbell.
Do you or anyone know anything on Amanda's or William parents? I will be happy to send you information on William L. Campbell's history down. William married a Rosanne " Rose" maiden name unknown? They married in ? in Morehouse LA. He died in 1864 in Civil War, don't know?

I'm looking for information on the line of Louis Eppinette 1793-1865 m. Dorthea Bonaventure. Son is Louis Eppinette 1820-1865 m. Vina Floyd. Daughter is Louisa Abernathy Eppinette 1845-1905 m. Armajor Kent Hall. Son is William Henderson 1866-1949 m. Laura Hackler. Daughter is Cora Susan Hall, my husband's grandmother. Stories, photos, etc. would be great. Also information on the Hackler family line. Laura Hackler's mother is Susan Catherine Anderson 18 May 1840-15 May 1909 - and no further ancestors. Who was Susan Anderson???

Any help would be great be greatly appreciated by the Whitaker family - settled in Warren Co., MS

My mom was Mary Louise Eppinette Dotson. I am just getting started on the Eppinette/Traxler side of the family- Gidget & Christy - can you or anyone give me more info on the Eppinette's. Any photos - I have some photos of Raymond A's children and of them with Mary and RA jr when they were very young - would be glad to share.Sidney Leon Eppinette married Maude Bennett. Granny Eppinette lived in a log house close to Uncle Sid & Aunt Hattie Faye near Start, La. I have a Bible that my mom gave to mamaw in 1947 - Mamaw's dad's name was Conda A Traxler wife's name Daisy Belle Overby. Conda was born 2-27-1886 in Polkville, Miss and died Apri 14, 1927 and is buried in New Salem Cem. Wife, Daisy Belle was born 2-23-1888 in Magee, Miss and died 7-1-1939 and is also buried in New Salem Cem. Mamaw was born 8-2-1909 in Mendenhall, Miss

Callie Fautheree married Willie Tharp

Thier mother was Valdis Cooper Fautheree ( m Isaac Benjamin Fautheree). She is the sister of my great grandmother Augusta Cooper Clifton.

I am looking for info on the family of Wesley Book, son of Henry Book and Sarah Eppinette. SARAH ANN EPPINETTE was the daughter of Louis and Lavina Floyd Eppinette. Wesley married Lillan May Fluitt. They had three daughters, Ida (b. 1890), Louisa Jane (b. 1892), and Desire Emma (b. 1895) Book. Lillian died in 1896. The girls are found on the 1900 Calcasieu Parish Census living with their grandfather, Dr. Samuel B. Fluitt. Dr. Sam later moved back to the Caldwell Parish area. The Fluitt and Book families are from the Caldwell Parish Louisiana area. I also found Books and Eppinette's in Richland Parish, LA.

Can anyone tell me what happened to Ida, Louisa Jane and Desire Emma Book? Or their father Wesley, after the death of Lillian?

I have in front of me the info you may be looking for...if you are still looking. Example: Benjamin Eppinette b. ca. 1826, d. 1879, md. ca. 1854 to Amanda Campbell, dau. of a Presbyterian Minister, and had: Pamala Tennessee Eppinette, Thomas Howard Eppinette, Edward Frank Eppinette, and Joseph Marie Eppinette.
I also have information regarding their children.

My Grandfather is Raymond Eppinette, married to Eunice Traxler; children - Mary Louise, Raymond, Jr. ("Buddy"), Claude Richard, Daisy Mae (or May) and Edward Leon ("Bones" my father).
I'll post more info when I can get it from my mother!

I show John B. Eppinette was born to Adolph and Melinda (M) Bailey Eppinette in 1862 and he married Mary J. Thomason in 1881and Carrie Jones (no date).
