I have just recently begun a search on my grandfather, John Henry Eppings, born January 8, 1884 in Germany. He married my grandmother in Lewis county, Missouri, in 1908 amd was listed on a census as a farm laborer. All I ever heard was that he was an orphan. When I googled his name, your message board came up. It certainly sounds like your grandfather and mine were brothers! I hope to hear from you soon.

Henry and Maria married on May 3, 1870 in Quincy, Adams, IL, USA. If anybody has any information concerning these two, I'd grately appreciate it.

Also, Henry and Maria gave birth to a son, Arthur Epping in Nov 20, 1904. Arthur married Grace Reddrick and had a son Richard Epping (who would be my grandfather).

Thank you so kindly,
Amber Epping

My Gr-Grandmother was Alvina Epping. She married Charles Mohr and they had 5 children (one was my gr'ma) and that is ALL I know. Do you have Alvina on your tree somewhere??
