It also lists several other children than georg Martin and gives George's birthdate as 1/24/1778
Would like opinions as to the validity of this info.

Dear Sirs in relation to these messages:

I am Sabrina Fletcher, the grand daughter of Dorothy Ernst, (she is still living) her father was Harry Elmor Ernst, my great grandfather. He had a brother Milton married to a Pearl Emerick, Dorothy was given and raised by her sister Elmina Emerick Martin @ 8 mos old. I have been in constant search of more information. I believe Harry also had sisters by the name of Mabel, Edith, Grace and Helen, and possibly a Julia? Harry bore two sets of children in his lifetime I am aware of, Dorothy and I are from the first. I believe Harry's father was George Wilhelm Ernst. I think his parents are Wilhelm Ernst and a Catherine Anna...? Fill me in, contact me personally info is on my page to do so! Thanks!! I have many inquiries and many wanting to know of my finds!

Hi Bernard,

The family tree I have shows the kids of Herman Ernst (1815-1874) and Clara Greenup (1821-?. They had Rudolph, Ferdinand, Tilly, Clara, Jamie and Julia Ann. It only shows the kids of Rudolph F. Ernst (1850-?) and Minerva Darrah (1859-1918). They were Rudolph F. who married Mattie Rogers, Estella, John Allison (my grandfather) who married Ora Norine Blush (my grandmother), Julia N., Charles A., Steve?, and Minerva.
My brother Donald Wills who was 13 months older than me passed away from a lung disease last week. I also had an uncle John George Ernst who lived in Woodstock, N.Y. but he has passed away also.
It is nice to talk to you. I have to go now but we will continue to compare notes.
Bill

Hi Bill,

Yes Ferdinand was from Trier region, later through land from his father he located to kingdom of Hannover near Hildesheim. Ferdinand and his wife, Mary Ann, had three sons, Hermann, Rudolph and Augusta. I descend from Hermann (later dropped the second "n"). I continue down that line from Herman's son Herman; to Vincent Aloysius Ernst; to Bernard Ernst; to me - Bernard Ernst, Jr.

The older Herman married Luissa and purchased and operated a hotel in lower Manhattan, New York. The younger Herman settled in Staten Island, New York whre he married Mary Ellen Goblet who was born in Paris, France.

Ferdinand's other two sons died of typhoid in the Ernst Colony in Illinois. So you aqre connected to my line. Nearly every line from the older Herman had a Ferdinand. How far back do you go?

Not positive on which Wilhelm you are looking for, but I am trying to narrow one down. Maybe sharing info from all that I know will help us do that. I am from the ernst line, by the way of a Harry Elmor Ernst married first to a Liza Pearl Jane Hutzell. We believe his father was George Wilhelm Ernst and his father Wilhelm Ernst possibly married to a Catherine Anna, last name unknown or possibly just Anna, but I doubt that. We believe he is from the Hannover, Germany region but not for sure. I know much more of the family line now until back upon that Wilhelm time I/we aren't sure. 843-251-1126 poetfletcher@hotmail.com

843-251-1126 poetfletcher@hotmail.com
p.s. Noticed your id name was Opal, you aren't Harry ernst jr's daughter per chance are you?

Grandson of George Ernst! I am gran-daughter of Dorothy Ernst his sister! 843-251-1126 in South Carolina, call me! I visited with my grama this week up north! Mabel (assuming this is the same ones I've been researching) also had a sister Edith , I believe these to be Harry Ernst Sr's sisters or cousins. It is in the 1900 12th census record. He and Milton (his definite brother) are listed in the household of George Ernst who I believe to be their father. Looks to be they were visiting another household and was counted there for the census along with Milton. It is noted at the end lines that "Harry and Milton are "sons of George Ernest). I hope you aren't making records with the name Ernest obsolete, you know the census takers spelled most names how they thought best and were not always correct!Harry himself had changed the spelling of his signature on more than one occasion. REACH ME! I'm also poetfletcher@hotmail.com I have more info

I am the grand daughter of Dorothy Ernst. Harry Ernst Sr. was her father, Liza Pearl Hutzell was her mother. There were a total of 8 children, all made to give away by Harry's order. In order (I believe,) they are William (Bill), Walter, George, Harry, Alice, Martha, Nellie, Dorothy. After they divorced in 1934 Harry Sr. then had 5 children with Helen Beals. They are in order, Raymond, Paulmor, Elmer, Laura and Rose. I have spoken to all of the second children and in fact Raymond, has always been close within my family in association with my papa Ronald Janus. He was also given to the same household that Dorothy was- Elnina & Raymond Martin (friends of Helen Beals). Just figured I'd include my post though we've found one another Krysten ;)

Hello Michael-
I e-mailed you directly at one of the addresses you provided, but I did not hear back from you so I am wondering if you got my message?
I wrote you that I had no way of knowing anything about your Mother, but I don't doubt that she and June were friends. June was a dancer in New York, so I imagine that is where they met up. I have tried and tried to find out more about June, and just lately found her death information. She was still going by June Lancaster, even though they were divorced and I thought she had remarried. I don't think she and Burt ever got over each other, but they wanted different things in life. Burt wanted children, June did not. Burt needed to follow his acting career, and June did not want to leave New York. They did not divorce for nearly 10 years after they separated, and then only when Burts girlfriend gave birth to his son.
I wish I could help you more. We all wish we would have asked more questions. If we could just go back in time 50 years or so !!

Libby

Hi, I am Michael Gregory Price. My mother Muriel Sweitzer was June's friend and may have known her in Washington when she worked at the War Department in 1941. Muriel married Edgar Elmer Price who also worked at the war department. Most of these facts seem fuzz because both of my parents, who are now passed away never really talked much about their younger days. They just use to call her "Aunt June". i was inspired to look this up when my girlfriend, Audrey, who is from Sarasota, Florida was flipping thru the T.V. and saw that the movie "Trapeeze" was on. Thus Burt Lancaster. Please let me know if I have the correct information. It would be nice to know some of my parent history. I often regret that I did not ask them so many questions while they were alive. Thank you, Mike Price. To add, my mother was a Ballet Dancer in New York city when she was teens and up, but I do not know how old she was when she left N.Y. She did tell my girlfriend that grew up in "Hells Kitchen" and she had a male friend that use to train circus "folk' how to do such things as balance standing on balls and walk on wires, ect... onc again, if any one knows please contact me at pricemg@earthlink.net or my girlfriend at lilaudrey1963@earthlink.net

Anthony Leon Ernst, Sherrif of Sugar Land, TX around 1910, partner with Ed and Tillie Tomlinson

I am trying to find out information on Anthony Leon Ernst, born 1880 in Donaldsonville, Ascension Parish, LA. Parents are Francis (Frank) Ernst and Catherine Kern. Family moved to Sugar Land, TX somewhere late 1890's/early 1900's.

Stories handed down over the years have Anthony sherrif of Sugar Land, TX early 1900's and partner in a Tomlinson's store with his brother-in-law Ed Tomlinson (who married his sister Matilda Ernst in 1903. Apparently, bandits robbed the store, cleaning it out. Anthony formed a posse to chase them all the way into New Mexico, but lost their trail. He then moved to New Orleans, where he married Annie Munsch in 1913. He died in 1934 at the age of 54.
I am looking for some article to document the story or to prove his status of Sugar Land, TX in the approximate time period.

Siblings:
Matilda Ernst (b. 1883) married to Ed Tomlinson (b.1866)
Francis N. Ernst, Jr (b. 1877) married to Ruby Bailor (b 1866)
Baptiste N Ernst (b.1877) married to Pamela M. Rodrigue (b 1880)
Emma C. Ernst (1872-1944) married to Alphonse M Miller (1867-1921)
Joseph C Ernst (1869-1942) married to Lucille Mary Rodrigue (1876-1940)
Fred Ernst (b 1866)

Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
John Ernst
Houston, TX
