Estoy buscando Elena Paula y José Luis Espejo Morales (y/o descendientes, ambos nacidos en Torreón, México en 1916 y 1918, hijos de Luis Espejo Delgado y Ma. Elena Morales Dresch (que murió de la influenza en 1918). Papá Espejo y sus hijos reubicaron a España después del fallecimiento de mamá Ma. Elena. I have some question that's bothering in my mind.....my grandfather is lope Espejo and his father was macario espejo...my mom said that his grandfather lived at Ilocos....who are the cousins of my grandfather lope Epsjo???
because i have a boyfriend his surname is also a espejo...is there any posibility that he's my distant relative?

my grandfather esteban espejo sr was 2nd cousins with your father manolo. we live in california. your father manolo is also my fiance's uncles ninong. what a small world.

Quiero seguir investigando mi línea ancestral que me conecta a Juan García Espejo, hijo de Bartolomé García y de María de Espejo; ellos vivieron en La Caldera, Tlajomulco, Nueva Galicia, además de Juan, hubo otros dos hijo por lo menos: Tomás y Juliana, ellos nacieron entre 1650-1670 Juan García Espejo se casó en el Nuevo Reino de León con Julia de la Garza (ella es descrita como indígena apache y él como español); de esta pareja desciendo yo.

This is Manny Espejo, my father Manolo E. Espejo was born 2/2/1906 in San Esteban, Ilocos Sur, Philippine Islands. I am trying to fill in the missing parts of my family on his side. I know that my grandfather's name was Luis Espejo and my grandmother's was Gregoria Egipto. If anyone should chance upon this note and could help in any way it would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to some positive responses.

I'm from Monterrey, N. L., Mexico, but I live in Mexico city now.
I have some ancestors related with Espejo surname, and I want continue my genealogical research in this matter. I'm descend from a Juan Garcia Espejo, son of Bartolome Garcia and from Maria de Espejo, this couple lived in a place named "La Caldera" within Tlajomulco, Jalisco jurisdiction; there was almost three children: Tomas, Juliana and Juan (born between 1650/1670).
Juan Garcia Espejo married with Julia de la Garza in Nuevo Reino de Leon, and I have some of his descendent lineage, but I have very little information about of his ancestors and I believe that you know some about this lineage.

FLINT, MICHIGAN - Theodore (Ted) C. Espejo, 94 passed away Friday, march 26, 2004 in Flint, Michigan after a short illness. Ted was born on April 2, 1909 in Vintar Ilocos Norte, Philippine Islands. Mr. Espejo cane to the United States in 1924 aboard the USS Grant in San Francisco, California. After arriving, he traveled throughout the United States and settled in Muncie , Indiana with his wife Ann and daughter, Anete, in 1943. Ted became a Naturalized Citizen in 1949 in Muncie, Indiana. Mr. Espejo retired from Durham Manufacturing Company in 1973, where he had worked for 26 years. He loved to garden and no one left his home without a vegetable of some sort.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ann, and a son-in-law, Charles L. Rude.

Ted leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter, Anete Rude, Flint, Michigan; a son, Gary Espejo (wife; Teresa), Tiffin, Ohio; grandchildren, Dagny Rude & Ellen Schnackel, Ferndale, michigan, Garon Rude, Flint, Michigan, Elizabeth Reasbeck (husband; John), Wheeling, West Virginia, and Alex Espejo (fiance; Robyn Wheeler) Wheeling, West Virginia; great-grandchildren, Wrin Rude and Daisy Reasbeck.

Funeral services will be conducted at Garden View Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Burial will be conducted at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

I am looking for family Espejo. They originated from Reynosa, Mexico. Ramona Espejo Gonzalez, may have been first husbands name, Ramona then married a LEAL, she died in 1977,in Hildago, Texas. From this marriage of LEAL she had a son Juan Pedro and he lived in Edingburg, Texas and was or is a schoolteacher. From her first marriage she had a number of children, who may all reside around Reynosa Mexico. There was Humberto and he worked on and off in 1980's in Wisconsin. He also worked for several taxi companies in McAllen, Texas. Also the McAllen Airport Taxi. There was Jose, Angel, also more children.

Well, the way the story goes is that my grandfather's father name was espejo but when his mother remarried he got the name Alvarez. He was from Balmorhea, Tx. I am looking for any of his relatives.
