Hello My Name is Rachel Esqueda, My Parents were Mike Zuniga Esqueda who married my mother Sara Bonilla Esqueda in 1970 I was born June 27,1960 in El Paso Texas. I now residen in Fresno Ca. My father Birth name was Miguel and when he bacame a US. Citizan back in the 70's he changed his first name to the English version Mike. Although My father Mike had been married two (2) other times previonsely. Delphina Cardoza and they had 7 children Leo, Elena, Concha, Daniel, Alice, Anita, Esther. Second wife was Eugenia not sure of her maidname the adopted two(2) boys Raymond and Samuel. Then came my mother Sara Bonilla which made me the last of the MOJICANS as my dad would say from his tribe. we are having a family reunion in Sept is the Labor day week end. my pphone number is 559-458-8982 please call me for more information. My great grandfather was related to San Pedro Esqueda. His name was Juan Esqueda Padilla. His mother was the sister of San Pedro's mother or so we are told. He was the vicar of san de los lagos and caononized in 2000. My grandmother attended his canonization as she was a close living relative of his.
I am trying to research my mothers side of the family. perhaps we are related.

Father Pedro Esqueda's church is in Valle de Guadalupe which is part of Jalostotitlan Jalisco, is next to Father's Toribio's church in the same rancheria. My grandfather's name was also Pedro I believe he was born around 1910-1912 his father was a pastry baker who named Jose Esqueda and he died when my grandfather was a child his wife was Maria de Jesus. All my family is from Teocaltiche Jalsico and I would like to know more info on my grandfather's side.

My name is Patricia Esqueda, my grandfather's name was Luis Esqueda and my Grandmother's Julia(Julieta) Arriola.
My father's name was Roberto Esqueda he died in a car accident in 1961 in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua.
(Estrada is my married name, but I am an Esqueda. Any information you can give me would be apprecieted. Maybe we are relatives.

My family tree: Manuel Esqueda married Pas Delgado (in the 1800's) and had the following chn: Francisca, Manuel Esqueda D., Jesus Esqueda D., Maria & Alfonso Esqueda D. (dob 1876). Raul Esqueda G. is a first cousin. Manuel serior started up a second family before 1900 in Aguascalientes, Mex. My branch of the family knows nothing of this second family. Supposedly Manuel Snior was born into the Esqueda's of the Circo Esqueda that existed up until the 1970's in Mexico.
Alfonso Esqueda D. married Sabina Calvillo about 1920 and they had two sons...Ricardo Esqueda (dob 1922) and my father Alfonso C. Esqueda (dob 1929). I also come from the same Esquedas you mentioned. My great-grandfather was Celso Esqueda. I am actually named after his daughter Rosalia (Rosa), who is my grandmother. I have just begun my search of the Esquedas and would love any information you can share!

I come from the Esquedas of Aguascalientes. My great-grandfather was Celso Esqueda who married Luisa Galvan de Esqueda. I am hoping to get in touch with someone who might be able to provide more information on this line. I believe Celso was son of Felix Esqueda and Maria Refugio Rodriguez de Esqueda. I would love to hear back from you, since you did mention that you have a lot of information on Esquedas from Aguascalientes.

HI, my dad has told me that he has a cousin that has green eyes and blond hair. Your post was very interesting since most people do not think of Mexican's having light eyes and hair. I don't know anything else about my dad's cousin except that the cousin is female.
