My name is Brandon Estevez and Victor was my father. I was born in Newburgh, NY. Victor passed in 1995 and Unfortunately I lost touch with that side of my family. I was told that I had a brother but never imagined that I might actually make contact with him at some point. Though it has been many years since your original request I hope this message finds you.

I am certain that these are my husbands great grandparents. I think they were originally from Portugal, or got there somehow, then lived in Spain. (I think that was the story I heard) :)

My brother in law was Victor Fernando Estevez. formally lived on the upper west of manhattan, 135th st. He married my sister Marta Alejandro on Feb. 2, 1963. they had one son; named Victor Felipe Estevez. last time he saw his father was around 1969-1970.
My brother in laws mother had remarried. her husband at the time was William Aponte. they had one daughter Diana Aponte. Grandmother was Amelia Aponte. She died on 2/12/65.Victor was a counselor for Daytop village, swanlake New york until 1979-1980. lost contact after that. My nephew would very much like to meet his father's side of the family. you have ANY information. please contact me. as soon as possible.
