I am trying to decipher several Jeremiah Etheridge/Ethridge's.
One was born abt. 1864 and in Jefferson Co., Il. in 1870. Another was born Feb. 1869 in Il. and was living in Joachim, Jefferson Co., Mo. in 1900. One was born abt 1864 in Tn. and lived in Joachim, Jefferson Co., Mo. in 1920. One was born abt. 1828 in Tn. and lived in Joachim, Jefferson Co., MO. in 1880. One was born between 1794 and 1776 and lived in White Co, Il. in 1820. One married Agnes Cross 12/20/1847 in Jefferson Co., MO. Jerramiah Ethridge was born abt. 1862 in Tn. and in 1880 was in Joachim, Jefferson Co., Mo. I am trying to find out who the parents are and which of these are the same persons and if the Jeremiah b. in 1828 is the father of which Jeremiah. I know some of this info. isn't accurate to dates of birth but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

On the 1871 census William and Jane's daughter Lucy is down as Lucy Dymott, i'm i correct in thinking William was not her father ?.

Do you happen to know who all the children married ?

I would be very interested to know how William and Jane fit into your family tree, they are my g-g-grandparents.

I still live local to the area, only 6 miles from Beaulieu and i'm starting to realise i am related to a lot of people in the New Forest lol.

Rachel.

I am looking for any and all information on Clifford White Etheridge, Jr., born August 28, 1908, in Tifton, GA. Died February 21, 1945, during WW II combat off the USS Bismarck SEA.

His parents were Cliff White Etheridge and Edith Burge. To the best of my knowledge, Clifford White Etheridge, Jr., was married twice - first to Eugenia Margaret Holcombe, and later to Mamie Clark. He fathered one child with Eugenia Holcombe(my mother), Joanne Etheridge (surname later changed to Niven upon adoption). My mother never knew anything about her biological father, and I'd like to fill in the blanks.

- Paula

Hi Mark, i have just started my family tree and i'm wondering if there is any connection with your family ?. My Grandmother was Dorothy Helen T Phillips (nee Broomfield) Her parents were Charles Broomfield 1858 and Hannah Mary Etheridge 1860. I believe Hannah's parents to be William Etheridge and Jane Dymott, they married in 1856, Lymington, Hampshire. As i have just started i have no more info at the moment but would love some help :-). Many thanks. Rachel.

Numerous Burrel's. Numerous Willaby/Willoughby's. My Burrel b.1793. His son Willaby b.1830. Plenty of info on father/son and their descendants. Keep in mind the first rule of genealogy: "Spelling doesn't Count" when looking for these folks but especially the Mebane/Mabin line. For those searching for Burrel Etheridge/Anna Mebane, there is a letter circulating from Burrel's grandson, Japser, indicating Burrel's parents Nathan and Martha were born Ireland. I don't believe this to be correct, but have no proof. Others have indicated that Burrel's father was Caleb, but again, no proof. I would love to have someone tell me they found the holy grail of this line. Who were the parents of Burrel of 1793? Phillip Etheridge had five children. When he died 1820, four (Sarah, Nathan, Jackson, Nancy) went to the custody of another Willoughby Etheridge and one (James) was identured to Nathan Nesbitt. Later the first four were living with Burrel and wife Anna. Were Phillip and Burrel brothers? Cousins? Some other relation?
