Susan, Marilou Kelemen and I are sisters. Our parents were Clifford Henry and Iris Eunice. I have meant to thank you for suggesting that someone should pick this up and it looks like Jerry Barnard has done that to a big degree. Glad to know you and would like to see info you have on our family. We come down through Coleman M. Eunice.

See you on Facebook.

Sharon, this is Connie, your uncle Clifford's daughter.

I remember meeting uncle Carl when I was about ten or so, not sure of age.

I do know that Henry William and Mary Youmans Eunice were both born in Blackshear, Pierce Co., Georgia and are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Waycross, Georgia.

I have been having a difficult time finding much info but my younger sister told me Henry's parents were James M. and Susie Bowen Eunice. They lived in Liberty Co., Ga.

I recently spoke with a decendant of Cecil (you left his name off the children list) who remembered my father, Clifford.

Good to see your posting.

My father was Earl Eunice. His brother was Arthur Eunice. I think his father was Paul Eunice & married Alitha (?). My father was put in an orphanage at a very young age. ( I think when his father died, because his mother remarried several times.) My father was born in August of 1928 or so. I don't know much about him. He left when I was five years old. My mother is deceased as of five years ago. Her name was Ella Vaughn Carter Eunice. They were married in Waycross (Hoboken) in 1954. I had a brother named Anthony Earl (Tony) Eunice but he died in 1971 at age 17. My father was living in LA at the time of his death around 1985.

I would appreciate any info. My mother said family name was Nunez originally.

Owen is my husbands grandfather. If anyone knows any information on Flonnie i.e., marriage date to James Schoolcraft, where Owen was born, etc., I would greatly appreciate it.

I saw a post, that someone has a picture of Flonnie.

Hi, I haven't been on the message board for a while, been really busy with other things. Trying to get back into the genealogy. My grandfather was Arthur Eunice who was one of the 10 children of William Arthur and Angie Eunice. It has been much easier to find out history in the 1700- 1800's than more recent. I did find a draft registration card for Robert Eunice and found his middle name was Anderson, he was born Sept. 17,1898. That's about all I know about him, but would love to have the names and dates of his children. Do you know his wife's name. I will send you what I have if you would send me your e-mail address. Thanks, Barbara Waldron.

Dear Barbara;

I am searching for my grandfather - his name is Robert Eunice. I read your message about William Anthony Eunice,
and noticed he had 10 children,- one was named Robert, born in 1898.... My grandfather would have been born about that time. He had two boys (that I know of), Fred and Melvin - Melvin is my father .... My father left when I was about 1 year old - I have very few letters from him, he wrote while he was in the Army during the second world war....He later remarried and that was the end.. I have 6 children and 18 grandchildren -
Iwould like to leave them something .... Any information will be appreciated ....

Thank you, Roy

My grandfather John Barney Nunez II was born in Waycross, GA in 1895. He had 2 genealogists, Nettie Majors in Washington, DC and Mrs. Abert Fisher in Alabama, research the Nunez/Eunice family in the 1950's. Four other people did research on the family: Charles Mosco Nunez of Swainsboro, GA, Dr. Mosco Nunez, Robert F. Nunez, Jr. in Fla., and David R. Moore of Dublin, GA. I would be interested to see the results of any of those researchers. I have much information, but am always looking for more.

I have been trying to get in touch with Aunt Flonnie (great uncle union sister's (children).....I'm not sure if they are living or not. They were the last of the family that I know of that stated in contact with each other. As I understand it Aunt Flonnie was the one to stay in touch with the siblings.
I'm at dogpatch43@aol.com

My great grandfather was William Arthur Eunice married to Angie(?)Crawley. He was born in Lowndes Co. Ga, April 11, 1869 and died May 26, 1962. He and his second wife Leila Morrell are buried in Hickory Grove Cemetery in Lowndes Co. William Arthur and Angie had the following children:
1- William b. 1894
2- Mayble b. 1896
3- Robert b. 1898
4- Flonnie b. 12-13-1900 d. 5-22-1991
5- Arthur Holmes b. 2-4-1903 d. 5-18-1989 (my g-father)
6- Union b. 1905 married Mildred Lewis in Tulsa OK. and had 3 children
7- Luell b.1909
8- Elmina b. 1910
9- Tallie b. 1912
10- Elmira b. 1916

Don't know if this is your Union, I was told that Union was shot and killed in Miami in front of his home. Don't know how reliable that is. It was told by a friend of the family.

I'm sorry I do not know anything about Angie. Nobody in my family is even sure what Union's mother, father, brothers or sisters names are. Union and Mildred had 3 children, Roberta, Estelle, and Jimmy. They were divorced when Jimmy was just a baby. I am assuming that you were related to Angie. Do you know if her brother had any relations/children in Oklahoma? The family story is that Union died in prison in California but I have not been able to prove that. In fact I can find no trace of him since the divorce. His sister and someone elso did come to Oklahoma once to visit the children but they do not remember her name. Any information would be helpful. Thank You

I am looking for information on Robert Union Eunice. He was married to Mildred Lewis in Tulsa, Oklahoma and soon after they moved to Valdosta GA (where I assume his family was). When the youngest child was born in 1936 Mildred took the children and hitch-hiked back to Oklahoma. Nobody has seen or heard from Robert Union Eunice since. According to the birth certificates of the 3 children he was born in 1904 in Georgia. Please contact me if you have any information.
