Gail M. Euston, age 85,
of Millcreek,pa,
passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Sarah Reed Retirement Center. She was born on September 1, 1925 in Saugus, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Sterling and Katherine (Duggan) Mensch. Gail was a member of St. George Church, an avid golfer and bowler. She was a auxiliary member of the Maennerchor and Zukor Clubs. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Schulte; one brother, Sterling R. Mensch, II; and a niece, Christine Houck. Gail is survived by her loving husband, Wilbur T. Euston; a daughter, Holly Patterson, husband Steve of Erie; three sons: Tom Euston, wife Connie of Pittsburgh, David Euston, wife Debbie of Erie, Lee Euston of Virginia Beach, Va.; and six grandchildren: Greg and Heather Euston, Jeff Euston, wife Megan, Katie Euston and Matt and Alyssa Patterson. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Josh, Luke and Connor Euston. Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd. Services will be held there on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church at 10 a.m. Burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northwestern Pennsylvania, 1128 State Street, Erie, PA 16501. Erie Times-News on November 28, 2010 .

James Henry Euston/ Harry Euston

I am looking for any information about Harry Euston who was my grandfather James Henry's father. James was born around 1874 in Liverpool. He was brought up in an orphanage so obviously his father was not around for long. His mother was Mary McFarlane or Pagan.

Hello again,a couple more "hints" perhaps.
*In a family album it has a birth date of 15th January 1884.
*It may be that Walt Hy EUSTON married Ruby Easton PRIGG in 1913 (he was a widower when he married Ella SMITH in 1917).
*It may also be that Mabel Jane Lines & Walt Hy EUSTON had a son, William Henry EUSTON, in 1913. Mabel was from New Zealand and they may have married on 21st August 1910.

All these just add to the mystery of the man whom I cannot find prior to coming to Aust.

William Wilson born 12 April 1863 died 24 April 1918 at 182 Langside Road, Glasgow, Scotland. married 19 Jan 1897 South Stoneham, Southampton to Edith Mary Jellett
13 Nov 1885 William Wilson joined the British Army at Worcester Regiment, Kidderminster, he stated he wished to be enlisted in the Scottish Rifles. Personal details recorded were- Name - William Wilson Age - 22 years 7 months - makes date of Birth April 1863trade - groom, born - Parish of Saint Anns, Jersey.William Wilson states his birth pace to be Saint Anns Jersey - there is no Saint Anns in Jersey, there are no births for a William Wilson in 1863 that would possible be his anywhere that is searchable.
There is no King Edwards School in the Channel Islands.
At the time of his marriage Willian Wilson first uses the name Euston as a second name
After his marriage he uses the name Euston as second name for all his children and also uses it as his wife's second name.
Just before his death William told his daughter to look in the papers as she could come into a lot of money.
There were always stories in the family that William was from French nobilty and this would onyl come to light after his death.
His daughter searched the papers and tried to trace his background but to no avail.

My mother-in-law Ethel Rager was born as Ethel Euston & lives in Lebanon. She was the daughter of Guy William & Sadie (Lux) Euston. Don't know if this is the Euston you are looking for.

Additional information that may help - William Euston was a veterinary surgeon, Walton (sometimes recorded as Walt Hy)
was most likely born between mid January & June 1879 and moved to Aust in 1904. Walton married Ella Gertrude Smith in 1917 and had 3 chlidren (1920, 1923, 1927) before dying on 6th January 1930. On Walton's marriage registration it is stated he was widower (1914). Walton went gold mining at Wedderburn Victoria Aust before moving to Melbourne as a house painter & decorator.

Hello my name is Peter Euston and I am trying to find info about WALTON HARRY EUSTON born in TRYDDYN - Nth Wasle (I think) in 1880 or 1884. He moved to Australia and married my G/Mother ELLA GERTRUDE SMITH in 1917. His parents were WILLIAM EUSTON and MARY NEWTON (I think). He died in 1930 aged 46 or 50? in Melbourne.
I would be grateful for any clues however small or tenuous.

Louisa EUSTON.

Louisa EUSTON - married to James SMEETON. He was in the Royal Navy, and they married in Portsea, 1898. Louisa must have died before 1912, as by this time James had remarried and a sone was born that year. I believe Louisa died and was buried in Scotland.
Looking for any snippet of information please.

I am searching for the ancestry of my Great Grandmother Alice C. Euston b.Aug 5, 1957 d.Jan 25, 1929. She was married to Lewis Wenrich and had children...Edna, Anna, Hannah, J. Arthur and Margaret. She is buried in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery.
