I'm looking for any info on the death of William M. (Montgomery or Marion) Evans, born 1869/1870 in Franklin Co. AR, died probably in Franklin Co. AR, sometime between the 1920 and 1930 census.

Spouse: Margaret Frances Adams 9 Sep 1891.

Jesse Evans 1903 –
Fay Evans 1906 –
Joe Evans 1909 –
William Milburn Evans 1914 – 1977

William Milburn Evans was my paternal grandfather.

I know that Alfred was born somewhere in England in 1864 , married a Jane Ellen ________b. 1865. (My main thing right now is trying to find Jane's maiden name) They were married somewhere around 1883. They had a boy George in 1885, and a girl Eliza/Lizzie in 1886. Alfred left for the US in 87 and Jane and the two kids one year later. Later they had more children. Alfred, Della, and Genevieve. I believe they're more. They are buried in Steger, IL.

If ANYONE has any info on them I would apprieciate it so much. As of right now I'm only reaching dead ends. I've been searching for three years for this couples parents names, Jane's maiden name. Anything to lead me to the next generation.

My grandmother was named Retta or Rhetta Barker. She was born in Virginia in about 1909. She lived and died in Tennessee in 1968. I don't know if this is the same person. Based on the year you have listed below, I don't think this is the same person. I have seen a single picture of her, but I don't have any other records of her existence. If she is from the same area or any of this looks like it could actually be the same person, I would love to see your picture and she if she looks similar. I don't have access to the picture I saw in the past.

I understand that william harries (born llanelly), mary evans (mother) and step father evan evans are all in the same grave.

looking for information of his death, his wife name was charlotte lambert. they lived in kent co , ontario and also woodstock ont. died sometime between 1920 abd 1930. had a daughter named alice, ida and sons were george, william and harold. his son william is also a mystery. he was drown in the 1940 somewhere in northern ont. with 3 other men . he was aguide and lived on manitoulin island in ontario canada.an find no record of his death altough i know he was drowned.

I am researcing this family because they had a daughter EDNA R who was born in the summer of 1925 (7/6/25). Some records show last name as Evan and some show EVANS.

In my non ID info: Edna of Irish & Cherokee Indian decent. Approx 5'5" with long dark wavy hair, hazel eyes with very long eyelashes, darker complection and a very good posture.

What remaining family members are out there and can give me info on this family? I sure would like to know about my birthmother, see a picture of her and know my "natural roots".

If anyone has a Sam Evans in Haywood County, N.C. b. S.C., please let me know. This is my line. A daughter Abby Lavada Evans married James Overstreet Wilkes and lived in Macon County, N.C. There is a female in Sam's household which I believe to be her. They have put her down as 9 years old, then wrote 10 over it so it looks like 19, only the initial L. My name is Wally Caviness of Bellingham, Washington and I am looking for information on my step-grandmother Rhetta Barker EVans.

She married my grandfather Robert Wiley Evans sometime after 1909 when Robert's first wife Sarah Etta Mae Humphrey Evans died.

She brought two sons into the marriage.

I have a Richard Allen (Robert's father) family picture taken in the 1920's that has Robert, Rhetta and her two sons in it.

I would appreciate any information on what happen to Rhetta (if that is her real name) and her two boys.

There might be different spellings of her name.

My great grandfather was born in Walnut Grove, Walton county, Georgia on 18 Jun 1890. His name was Lester Erastus Evans, the son of John Madison Evans and Emma Cornelia Harris Evans. Lester's paternal grandmother lived on Stone Mountain, Georgia until she died (I believe that she died around 1900). If you're interested in sharing more, just email me.

I am researching my Watson line and believe I may have a common ancestor with you. I am researching a Joel Watson who married a Clarissa Ellis. The only info I have is that they are the parents (according to my research and theory) of a William H. Watson of whom I am descended. William's death certificate mentions his parents as being Joel Watson from VA and his mother being Clarissa Ellis from VA.

William (their son) was born in 1825 in or near Garrard County or Rockcastle Cty, KY.

Any information that you have that might tie these people together would be great.

This is Marri, here is the update to my grandfather Chauncey Lorenzo'dow Evans, he was born in 1890 in the Mckees Rocks borough of Pa.
His father was Lorenzo'dow Evans, he was born in hyndman pa, Bedford county.
His father was John Evans he was a farmer in the hyndman borough of bedford county Pa
The Evans farm is still there in Hyndman, I don't know if it is still family operated.
John's father is believed to be Evan evans comeing in from Berks county Pa.

After the civil war, my family of Moses and Adaline E. (Johnston) Evans moved from Kemper Co MS (DeKalb) to Florida. Moses Evans was born in SC. Although not one of their offspring, it is possible the Adeline for whom you are looking is related to this family.

I'm also seeking information about Alexander Wesley Evans. He lived in Chattahoochee County, Georgia. Reared Emanuel Moffett Evans (my line) and Alcey Evans. . .they were his grandchildren. Emanuel Moffett's mother was Mary, born in `1800 and died June 5, 1870. Emanuel was named for Oren D. Moffett and it is rumored he was his illegitimate son.

Have been unable to find anything earlier, though word of mouth has it that five Evans brothers emigrated from Wales before the Revolutionary war.

Would be pleased if you have any further information. I can trace my line from Emanuel Moffett to the present.
