My father was Sidney Eyers. His father was Charles Henry Eyers who married Frances May Wright. They emigrated to New Zealand in 1912 when my father was 6 months old. Dad's grandparents were Sidney and Susanna(nee Yates). We visited Tony (son of Harry and Henrietta) in England 30 years ago and still have contact with their son Michael who is unmarried. Could supply more details about us and would love to know more about Charles' siblings and descendants

William Endicott EYERS came from Dorset - he was baptised in 1836 - parents Phineas and Susannah . His grandparents were George and Temperance EYERS . I can provide more information on request.
It's worth noticing that , in Dorset at least , the EYERS name was written down with every conceivable spelling - the differences are not real , so look for EYRES , AYRES , AYERS , EARS , EARES , EYEARS , EYARS , EAYERS , EAYEARS , EYEARES as well .
I am currently researching all EYERS etc names in Dorset , England , pre 1881 and welcome information.
