Gilbraith was my 5th great grandfather. I do not have a lot of info on Charles, but was wondering if you ever located a spouse for Charles. Thank you for your time!
Allison

James Bivens Falls was the father of Jefferson Davis Falls. His mother was Mary Dunlap Dickson/Dixson. There were 12 siblings and Jefferson did move to Throckmorton, Throckmorton, Texas. I found lots of death records of his family on the familysearch.org site (go to the new page). Jefferson also had 12 children.

Hello. I know this question was posted several yrs ago, but I have come across some information that may be of assistance to you. I recently visited Centre Presbyterian Church cemetery, near Charlotte, NC. In this graveyard, there were the graves of Capt. Gilbraith Falls 1740-1780 and Major William Falls 1763-1837. There was also a Mary S. Falls, 1766-1826 and and infant John Falls. There were also several Kerr's in this same cemetery. James Kerr 1738-1816, Jane Kerr 1754-1831, Amelia Kerr 1779, William H. Kerr 1778-1844, Alford Kerr 1796-1852, Harriet R. Kerr 1806-1818, James W. Kerr (Confederate Soldier) 1835-1919, Julie J. Kerr 1837-1911, Mollie L. H. Kerr 1856-1899, William M. Kerr 1867-1900, Charlie Kerr 1870-1942 and Nita Kerr 1878-1960. I am a direct descendent of Capt. Gilbraith Falls and am also trying to locate info on Isabella Kerr. However, I was unable to locate her grave in this cemetery. Hope some of this info will be helpful to someone.

I'm responding to a rather old post but thought it might help nonetheless.

Virgie May Falls was the daughter of Catherine Ann (Cassie) Sellers and James H. Falls. Virgie married Jerimiah Jackson Michael circa 1907, and together they had at least 5 children that I know of; Myrtle, Bertha, Flora, Emma, and Raymond. Virgie was Jerimiah's 2nd wife. He was 1st married to Elizabeth Lum.

Virgie died May 23, 1964, a couple weeks shy of her 81st birthday. She was buried in Mountain Valley Church Cemetery located on Mountain Valley Road in Rockingham County, Virginia.

Hope that helps.

Michael

Linda,
Greetings from Arizona! I'm not sure how we are related, but have recently started filling in the family tree with info from the Hart tree. I am the daughter of Rankin Fern Falls (May 3 1900 to August 3 1976), son of William Falls and Harriet Rankin of Carp. I would love to get together and compare notes. I have some information from my father, not much as he was notoriously closed-mouthed, and other bits from his sisters (all now deceased), but am willing to share all and see if we can fill in the gaps together.

I had heard Falls was Irish. My grandfather lived in Fulton, KY, and was named Winifred Falls. He had two sons that lived, my father and my uncle, both deceased. Edward H. Falls, and David T. Falls.
