Am interested in any info about my birth mother, Fan (surname), given name Ching-mui. SHe gave me up for adoption in Hong Kong in approximately June of 1958. If any of you out there are relatives of mine, I'd love to hear from you!

I have a text book that belonged to James P. Fhan of Notra Dame University approximately 1900. Do not know if this is a relative of mine or not as no one can recall that name in family. There is not a current message board with that spelling. But I have found some persons with this spelling in 1880 and 1910 census records. Does anyone else have this spelling?

Sorry. these are not my Fann's. Mine were only in Wake Co. NC and grandfather moved to TN in 1920.

Would you have a Martha Jane Fann who married Elias Burris
in Jackson CO.07 May,1848.They had a son Martin born 1849
-50. they went with two of Elias's brothers to Texas 1850-54
these are my great great grandparents. Thank You

The Fan(now fann)I know was William Estee Fann,Born in Eastman,Ga.in 1987 he passed on at the age of 75,leaving a second wifeand two sons.If more info is required contact Blondie23803 at yahoo.com bye!

While I can't be 100% sure of what that
E stands for. My Father's name is Billy E. Fann and my middle intial is E. It stands for
Eugene.

my father's family (Fan) originally came from Canton, China. he told me the family then moved to "dai loke" (spelled phonetically). there, the family stayed for almost two centuries.

i am turning 16 soon. my family history is of great facination to me. i would love to learn more about the Fan family if you're in anyway related!

The Fan or Fan4 , moved from China to Viet Nam . since
220 - 280 B C . I would like to search for our root back to 7000 A C .
Someone who is Chinese , and descendant of The Fan ( from Fan District curently,or From Cao Peng ,during Han Dynasty could be helpful.
