I know that this post is a couple years old, but was wondering if you are still on here? I was hoping that this was the same Thomas Farmbrough of around 1680 from London. I know that the spelling is different but I was hoping that maybe that was because of illiteracy?

Anyways, I think this is the same Thomas I've been looking into.

Does anyone have information on Thomas Farmborrough of London, chairmaker, who bought 5000 acres in the Province of Pennsylvania from William Penn in 1682? Did he settle in Pennsylvania? I am looking for more info on him and I hope to collaborate with someone else.
