hello, im only 14 but my grandfather was born in italy and he was in WW2 as well, then moved to venezuela with my father, then in the 80's to Pennsylvania

Thanks for your reply. My interest in the Faro side is from Sussex and later London in the C19th and early C20th. However it could well be that there is a connection through a cousin / sibling along the way. I am right in thinking we are talking about SA? If so do you know when the family emiigrated?

My father (late) Collin Faro from old East Griqualand in the now Kokstad or Transkei. My grandmother's name is Nancy (late).

My married name is Faro. My husband's Grandfather was orginally from Italy. Came to the States as a child. He was Louis Faro. Ended up in Oregon in 1900's. My father-in-law was Anthony Nicholas Faro.

I too come from the Faro clan. My grandfather's name is Salvator Faro - died in NY. My father's name before he changed it was Carmello Faro - born in NY (I believe) - served in the Air Force and was stationed on Clark Air Base. I believe my father lives in Sacramento but it has been nearly 20 years since I last saw him. What do you think...do I fit in somewhere in your tree as well as my brother Diogini Faro...aka-Dennis Faro?

I have a Mary Eva Pharo born 1854 died sometime after 1936, married to Samuel Adolphus Pangburn Jr., in Millville, Cumberland County, NJ.
She would be my grandfather's grandmother. I have heard all sorts of stories about her all my life. Some say she was Cherokee(I was told her Cherokee name was Seyno). Some say Italian. Some say Gypsy. I would really like to find out more about her and where her family originated. I do not know anything else about her, except that she had long dark hair and spooked people(I was also told she knew how to mix herbs for healing...???)
any info would be appreciated! thanks!

I may be telling you what you already know..but My Farrow line was listed as Faro, Farro, Pharo and Farrow yet they were the same man..

Since I'm adopted myself, my adoptive name is Otto. I believe my adoptive father's family is originally from Jim Thorpe, PA (used to be called Mau Chunk sp?). I don't think there is any of our Otto's who have resided in Philly.

sorry i cannot help you with your search. I am replying to you because I am looking for information on Margaret Otto, from philadelphia. she had a daughter margaret daniels. I found them in the 1930 census. they lived on Janney street. Is this any connection to you?
