Mary...I know that my Grandmother's name was Sarah Elizabeth Faulkner and there was another name near hers, it was either Sara Jane or Susan Jane Faulkner, I don't remember the dates, so I do not know if they were mother and daughter or two sisters. There was a Thomas Faulker, a William Faulkner and others that I cannot remember, but I do know that the name on the very botton of that list of names in the old Bible was either Ira, Ian or Asa Faulkner, but I could not make out the name but it was only 3 letters.
Daddy was born in Pike County, My grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Faulkner married William Bunn in Spaulding County.
Every since I was born and before then, they lived in Newnan, Georgia on Greenville street for many years. In the Newnan History Book you can find the Bunn brothers, J. Robert (Uncle Bob), Uncle Charles and Daddy ran a hardware store in the very early 30's maybe sooner. Grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Faulkner Bunn, died in 1929. I know nothing of William Bunn, her husband, my cousin Jeannette Bunn Dingler, years ago, told me by phone, that she knew nothing either except that he was buried somewhere in or near Fitzgerald, Ga. I think my mother thought thatmy daddy's uncle's name was Farmer Bunn, but we never knew for sure. I had some cousins, who were twin girls, never met them, they would be a little younger than me, probably by at least 10-15 years, but we favored when young. I look just like Daddy Bunn. I may have half brothers by my father's first wife, Georgia Bunn, Maiden name Bunn, they were Cousins. When I was trying to put down some names and I said well, Annie Lizzie Bunn Wade, my half-sister and I are Daddy's only children. She smiled and said maybe not.
She said that Daddy told her that Georgia said that she may have had some more children by him. I said if that was true, then whey didn't they live with Georgia and Annie Lizzie and Daddy and she said that she thought that they had lived with Georgia Bunn's parents. I do not know their given names and I thought that she died until a few years ago when I spoke to Sam Bunn and he and I were trying to figure out a connection. He had a Georgia Bunn married to A william Bunn, but the birthday and the parents of her william Bunn are not the same as mine. I think he thought that Dock was William Bunn's father, not my Daddy, wonder if it could have been my Grandfather William Bunn's daddy.
Never could figure that one out. In spaulding County is the marriage of William Bunn and Sarah Elizabeth Faulkner.
I wish I knew more. Also, I think that my cousin Emma Bunn married my uncle Mitchell Kellum, my mother's brother. When I was young I remember meeting her at Uncle Mitchell's and mother said, she is also kin to you on the Bunn Side.
Also, twin girls by my cousin Jeanette Bunn Dingler. Did I give you my website so you can see a younger version of me. I look like my Daddy Bunn. I am an unknown author, if I did not tell you that. I have two romance novels, and I am working on one more romance and a spy thriller. Anyway, take a look at me, to see my father. Hope we find a connection, as I say, if what mother said is true, then I may have had some half-brothers or sisters that I never met. The whole thing is very strange to me.
