SERENDIPITY: In the "Missing Folk Finder" column, "Genealogical Helper" magazine, Jan-Feb 1996 issue was an open letter from Carl Merton Fenwick, Loveland, OH, who was trying to locate some information regarding his father - identity unknown. He wanted his father to know that there were grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren who would also like to know him without intruding in his life.
Carl was born at the Florence Crittenton Home in Boston on 06 June 1929. His mother, Edith/Edythe Fenwick was an unmarried nurse at Norfolk Co. Hospital in Massachusetts and contracted TB and was a patient in Plymouth Co. Hospital until her death in 1931. Carl was 21 months old at the time of her death and was raised by his grandmother, Mary Amelia (Pendergrass) Seelye. For more details please reference that issue.
