I show a Fernan(no E)family from Ireland, Immigrating to Elizabeth, NJ.= Micharl Fernan, b. 1840 & Bridget Maloney. b. 1842. Their children= Mary Ann, John J., Johanna, Margaret, Bridget, Julia, Elizabeth, Patrick. Mary Ann married Thomas M. Breen and settled in Ithaca, Tompkins Co. NY.

I am looking for any relatives or descendants of Fernane from the Pennsylvania area. I am directly looking for the Family Fernane containing: Mortimer married to Elizabeth Lewis, John, Mary,Katherine,Julia MacDonald,Agnes,Lucille Isban married Charles and Genevieve Fernane McCarthy. Parents: Anna Crane and John P. Fernane.

James Fernan & Caroline Richards immigrating in Canada (1862)

Anyone related to this couple in Quebec (Canada) ? I have a few of their descendants. James was born in Ireland (around 1826) and Caroline was born in England (around 1823). They were married probably in England between 1846 and 1851 and had at least three children before they decided to emigrate to US or Canada. They left England in 1862 (I do not know from where) and lived for a while in Ontario (Canada). There, they had a baby girl (Caroline) born in 1863. They left Ontario before 1871 and settled in Montreal (Quebec). They were burried in Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery, Montreal Quebec, respectively in 1889 (James Fernan) and 1898 (Caroline Richards). There children were : Elizabeth (b. 1858 and d. 1927 in Mtl - I have her descendants); Eliza Alma ( b. 1851, I do not know where she lived); Mary (b. 1861 and d, 1889 Mtl) and Caroline (b. 1863 - I do not know either where she lived). Any information will be appreciated and provided also.
