Hi, Jim. I am looking for any info on Cecile Fete, 1865-1948. I know little about her background:

1. She is said to be from Cortebert, Switzerland
2. She came to U.S. as a governess
3. She married David Cornelius Rhein(?) or, Ryan in the U.S.
4. Her birthday was June 27, 1865
5. Date of death = 2/3/48
6. Buried at Arcadia, Florida

Any chance you could email me that family tree you are working on? If not, thanks for any info you can share.

Tim Beckham, tbeckham@webpubs.com

Hi, does anybody know if the current name Fete evolved from either Fate or Fait? Just curious if there may be a connection.

Thanks, Chad

Fetes on the web

I wouldn't mind getting a copy of that. I also thought you might like to know about a new web site that has some Fete info on it. The address is http://cannon.theshoppe.com/
My connections to any Fetes is uncertain, I supposedly have a great grandpa who was named Faite and I know that some of his descendants changed their names to Fate and Fete. Anyway, let me know if a copy is still available of your info.
Thanks, Tom
