I am trying to trace my father his name was/is Wilfred Landswell Fiander

My grandmother was Edith Blanche Fiander who was from BIG LORRAINE. I don't know if there is a connection but if you're interested in more info let me know. She was born in 1883.

I am not familiar with the Fianders you mentioned but my grandmother was a Fiander. I just recently connected to a Fiander from Newfoundland who may be familiar with the people you mention or know someone else who does.

My mother was Pearl Fiander-born in Glace Bay and her fathers/mothers names were Mary and Thomas.

I,m looking for information about the Fiander family of Cape Breton. My Grandfather was Thomas Fiander, he lived with his wife Mary and their 8 children, 3 girls, and 5 boys in Glace Bay until his death in 1950-1. I've been a little busy lately, also changed my e-mail address, wasn't very considerate, was I, however, I would love any information on The Fiander Ancestry and would love to hear from anyone who knows about our family history. My Grandmother's Fiander family are all from Halifax, P.E.I., and Newfoundland.
She had a brother named Eddie. Her father's name was Captain Stephen Fiander. Her mother's name

Looking for family

I am looking for the daughters of Mary Fiander who lived in Halifax in the 60,70 and possibly 1980's.
I bielive there are seven girls all born in Halifax NS befor 1961.
I have been told that all children where taken out of the home by Child Protection Services.
What I do know is Mary Fianders mother was Marie Fiander she also has a sister Ann ,Sherry ,and a brother Eddie.
Any info would be great. Thanks
