FIGURES, Hannah [Surry co., Virginia]

Seeking any info on Hannah Figures, born about 1671 in Surry county.
1699 in same county married Robert Owen, [1667-1717].
Hannah died 11-19-1743 in Surry county.

Believe they had four children, one being John Owen, b. 1706 and died 1737-1738.

Ijust found this message from you and can say that Elizabeth & Cornelius along with William, Joseph, James, George and Theresa were children of William and Theresa.

This is probably far to late to be any good to you but my relative is a William Figures, born 1819,who married a Theresa Johnstone, born 1821 in Ireland.

Do you want / need any further information on this line?

Does anyone have any information about a Figures who married Emilie/Emily/Malia Knapp. I believe they lived in New York State. They had two children, Joseph and Helen/Ellen. Emily Knapp later married E. Walter Sharp/Sharpe and moved to Wisconsin taking the children. Helen Figures married Henry Westlake in Wisconsin. I have no idea what happened to Joseph. My husband's grandmother's maiden name was Ellen Figures born in Birmingham, England. Her father was Thomas Figures. Supposedly she was born in 1870 but have nothing to verify that. She came to the U.S. (Camden, New Jersey) probably in the late 1800s. She married William George Chambers on June 4, 1900 in Camden, NJ.

I have several pictures of her. Also have an old picture (no names). It could be her parents. The woman looks like her. The photographer is Robinson & Son, 20, North Road, Wolverhampton. I don't know if this is in England.

Any information you could share would be appreciated.

Looking for any links with the following ‘Figure’ family.

James Figure born Ireland approx. 1822. Married to Charlotte (nee Summers) born Pembrokeshire, Wales approx. 1832. They had the following children:-

James born Scotland approx. 1854
George born England approx 1858
Ann born Jersey, Channel Islands approx. 1860
Catherine (Kate) born Jersey, Channel Islands 06/08/1864
Charles born Jersey, Channel Islands approx 1866

On the 1881 and 1891 census the family are living in Wigan, Lancashire, England.

In July 1882 Catherine (Kate) married Samuel Bate at St. Thomas’s Church in Wigan.

On all of the information that I have. The copy of the entry into the 1861 Census, the copy of the birth certificate for Catherine (Kate) and the copy of the marriage certificate for Kate to Samuel Bate the spelling of the surname is ‘Figure’.

Does anyone have any information on this family.

William Figures born 1777 Lufhorras, Lancaster, England
spouse: Mary Bedworth Married in 1846

They had a son also William Figures born 1818
married to Theresa Johnstone in 1838

Their Children were Elizabeth &Cornelius (that I've found so far) born 1851 & 1838 (Elizabeth) in Birmingham, Warwick, England

Cornelius married Emily Horton 1872....went to Canada
Son: George Thomas Figures born 1887 Canada
