Desperate to find out where my 2nd great grandfather, William, was born and who his father was. They were from Northumberland, Morpeth/Newcastle. The trail runs cold from his marriage cert. in 1870 as the person who filled it out spelt the name FINLER. I know his wife was Frances nee Marley. The census details of 1871 and 81 put his birth at 1850 but alas no trace can be found. To all Finlays out there, HELP.
