I am most interested in finding out information on a William Firth who had many children. I could be right ot wrong on some of these but i got Herbert, George, Joseph, William, Charles Herbert, Hannah Melinda, Charles John, Arthur and Maybe Harry and Mary Ann. I do have exact locations of death on his children and dates and he may have married a woman by the name of Maryann Myres. Anyone can help???

William was told to live on Firth Carr in Bradford and buried at Windhill Cemetary???

Please email at chernissandme@aol.com

What time frame are you interested in? There are many Firth families in Bradford, Yorkshire in the late 1800s. Bradford is a real 'Firth Haven'.
My gg grandfather was Absolom Firth from Bradford in the late 1800s, but I don't see any connection with your Firth family.

well... i am interested in any firths i can find related to this one particular William (which again is very common)... but i believe based on the children he had he would have had to have been born in the early 1800's. I don't see that name anywhere in my tree, but that doesn't exclude that he may be. I'm so lost! I wish there was only one stretch of firths in that location so it would be so much more easier for me!

Hi
I have an ancestor called Joseph Firth from West Yorkshire. He had a son Fred who was my great, great grandfather.
Is this the same Joseph Firth?

Hello

My family are Firth's from Yorkshire. William Firth is the name of my great grandfather and great grandfather, my grandfathers name was Joseph William Firth. Most of my grandfathers (great and otherwise) were William Crosby Firth, Ferdrick William Firth etc, etc. I don't know them all but I suggest you send my dad an e-mail he is 87 and as sharp as a whistle he will let you know the roots. William Firth did have many children I can assure you (as did my dad). He won't be around for long given his age so if you really want to know, let him know his daughter Ascencao suggested you talk to him (He is like a walking history book)
I have not written the family tree down I wish I had but he is the last of the ones who actually can tell you.
He knows how to e-mail so please do e-mail him

fradrek@googlemail.com

Kind regards Ascencao Firth

I just emailed him. I really hope he can give me some insight as to where I came from and possibly connect me to someone alive who can help me grow this tree i've been working on. Although i don't carry Firth as my last name anymore because of marriages, my dad has given me the honor of carrying it as my middle name and told me that it is honorable to carry it on... with no reason why! I'm wondering where and why this began and this seems to be the only way i'll ever find out. My hopes are that you are connected to me in some way!
