A post by John Seakins (1-8-05) mentioned Joseph and Sarah Fitter London. Mainly butchers by trade. My grandfather was Ernest Fitter, a butcher, in Detroit, Michigan. Thought this may be a connection.

Looking for descendants of Sarah Fitter (Born Kingswood, UK) married William Humphries in 1883 South Australia, then moved to Victoria about 1885 where they had further chilren, and lived in Camberwell, Melbourne for most of their lives.

i am looking for info on a
Susannah Fetter/Fitter/Fetterer/Fitterer
born approx. 1855 in Coventry England
married John Corrigan

It would not surprise me if it was from the same family as one of my great-great-grandmothers was from Ireland and apparently lived to age 106 (though I am not sure if it was the Fetter(?) side.)
Other possible family names McHale (family of Archbishop John McHale - also supposed to be from this side of the family) and/or possibly McGee

I am seeking any information on either James or Susannah or any of their descendants. Susannah was born 1755 in Ireland and married James 1780. She died 1817, also in Ireland (Cork).

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
