Hi everyone! I am just beginning to research my family branches. My grand mothers family was from Ireland.My great-great Grandmothers names was Ellen Carroll Fitzsimons. She was born July 9, 1826. She had 3 sons that I know of at this point, My great Grandfather Patrick born in1865. There was also a Father William Fitzsimons born Nov 1862, with a twin Brother named Thomas. I have pictures that my Aunt had taken on her last trip to Ireland of the family home, of the cross on the grave of my great-great Grandmothers. I also have a picture of the building that was once a pub owned by the family and is now a news and variety store inthe town of Virginia, count Cavan. I hope to obtain more information in a few days with a visit to my Aunt. If any of this sounds familiar to you, perhaps we have some sort of connection.

I have some of the same names (Patrick, Thomas) but the dates don't match. You say you just started, when you get a tree made and publish a home page let me know and I'll take a look. Thanks, Sue

Since writing to you, I've added a lot. Send me your address to family_gal@sbcglobal.net and I will send you a link to my tree.
I have found several mistakes I have made when merging two trees so look for sources and check the dates before added any info to your tree.
I will get this sorted out and may just go back to the two separate tress and start over again.
