My great grandfather James Fitzsimons was born in Ireland in 1876 (place of birth unknown but thought to be Dublin)
He married a Florence Carroll (Born c1879)
We believe Sarah Carroll (born 1839 Wicklow) was the mother of Florence and her sister Martha (born c1883)
James & Florence had 3 boys my grandfather Charles (Sonny) born c1907, Albert c1908 and James c1910.
They are shown as living on the Ballybough Rd in Dublin in 1911 (census)
It is understood James Snr died at sea and that Florence died shortly after...And that Martha her sister then took the 3 boys in. She married a William Boyd (born c1877)

I have sent for the MARRIAGE.
Their son THOMAS FITZSIMONS b. 1887 44 CUFFE street Dublin
he married :
MARGARET CARROLL 1908 Dublin
THOMAS and MARGARET FITZSIMONS moved to Liverpool abt 1915
with their children :
Bernard, James and John b. 1910, 1911 and 1914 Dublin.
Died in Liverpool
