Yes, we have the same family.
William and Margaret came from Cample, in Closeburn - Dumfriesshire. He was the brother of my ancestor, Thomas Flint. Your Thomas had 3 brothers who emigrated to Australia in the 1850/60s & I am in touch with descendants of one of those brothers - Robert - in Queensland.
Thomas jnr stayed with his family, I think until his mother died, & then he moved to Cardiff, I found them on the ?1891? census - (I am working from memory here).
William's parents were William Flint (stone mason) and Christina/Christian Kirkpatrick of Cample. If you 'google' her as Mrs Kirsty Flint you should pick up her connection (in the nicest possible way) to Robert Burns.
My Gt gt grandfather, another Robert Flint, was also a stone mason at first.

I do have a lot of info on this family, I'll do my best to get it together in the next week or so (incentive to get it sorted) & then think of the best way to get it to you.
It's good to make contact.
Best wishes
Pat
