Robert Follett, living in Providence, RI in 1850, born ca. 1808

Hello all, I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to trace my grandfather (Roy Wilson Follett b. 1887 in Attleboro, Mass)'s line and have gotten as far as his great-grandfather, Robert Follett, who was a carpenter living in North Providence in 1850 and married to Frances. According to the census of that year he was 42, so he was born around 1808, location unknown. We must be descended from Robert Follett of Salem, since one or two of his children moved to the Attleboro/Rhode Island area in the early 1700s, but I can't make the definitive link. If anyone can help, my mother and I would be very grateful. Thanks!

Thursday, June 23, 1887 Page 5

On the 17th, Grand Forks, Dakota, was visited with a destructive tornado. The storm came from the west and travelled due east. There are disparities between her obituary and death certificate which have confused my search. Her death certificate indicates that she was born on April 10,1841 in Pennsylvania.

Follett in Michigan 1800's On

I am looking for an unnamed FOLLETT. He married a woman named Eliza Clark Bogardus who was the daughter of a Thomas Clark sometime after 1848 when she became a widow. By the 1870 Kalamazoo Co Census she had to have been a widow again, but her name was then listed as Eliza FOLLETT. Also is listed as having a daughter age 10 named Susan FOLLETT. She is listed as a landowner and her eldest son by her first marriage is listed as farming her property. I believe Eliza may have married either a James FOLLETT or a Luther FOLLETT which are listed as residing in Kalamazoo area Michigan. There is also an Eliphalet FOLLETT listed in Allegan County which is close. Any help or info on these names appreciated.
Hi,
My name is Crystal (Follett) Lupisella. I am trying to find out any information on the Follett side. All is know is that my great grandfather's name is Fred Follett, said to be adopted, and came to Virginia from New York. This is probably in the late 1800s early 1900s. I believe that he married Lillian Firman. No one seems to know much about this side of the family. If there is anyone that can help me out I am grateful!
Thanks
Crystal Lupisella

James Follett MURDERED his brother in Newfoundland

I need info on the Folletts of Grand Beach; have newspaper stories re Murder of Edward Follett by his brother James Follett (of Grand Beach). Seems that Edward was approached by James as Edward came up from his dory, James allegedly shot Edward some 68 times (in the chest), he was later tired and convicted and sent to 7 years for manslaughter. It appears that this all started as a result of something between Edward and James's wife back in Grand Beach...it is his wife that is my connection, if this is in fact the same James Follett of Grand Beach....although it seems unlikely that there might be 2 james Flooett and wife in Grad Beach. Want info on the name of the wife and the children....Mac

I am searching for the identity of Sarah Follett's (b 1786, d 1842) parents, Hannah and Isaac Follett. She may have been born in Worthington or Middlefield MA. She married Branch Leonard on November 26, 1807 in Worthington MA, and they raised their children there. Hannah and Isaac are "common" names throughout the Follett line, but I have not been able to identify her parents, Hannah and Isaac Follett. Any leads would be appreciated.

Mary Follett Obit - who are her parents? Ideas?

Washington, Kansas, Palladium Dec. 29, 1916 OBITUARY

Mary Follet was born Nov. 8th, 1819 at Roxberry, Delaware County, N. Y. , where she grew to womanhood and was married to William Flansburg, Oct. 7th, 1839. From this union eleven children were born. Her husband and five children preceded her to the better land. She became a Christian in
childhood and lived such a life as was true to the teachings of the Christ, and those coming in contact with her daily life could not help but be made better. Never in any way did she bring reproach upon the cause she had espoused. In her extreme age, when nearly all else was forgotten, she never forgot to quote passages of scripture from her Bible and was hourly in communion with her Savior in prayer.

Sixty years ago she removed with her husband and children to Henry County, Ill. and from there to Kansas twenty-eight years ago, where she united with the Christian church at Washington in its early days wherein she still retained her membership. The children left to mourn her loss are: John D. Flansburg, Washington, Kansas; Frances C. Decker, Enid, Okla.; Lydia Louise Decker Hollenberg, Kans.; Alice Isabella Whipple, Elk River, Minn.; Mary Janette Emery, Washington, Kansas, and Elva D. Johnson, Morrowville, Kans., with whom she made her home the last eighteen years of her life.

I am searching for any information on the family of my ggf. William Follett and his wife Susan Weber lived in the Buffalo, NY area around 1900 and had 3 children to my knowledge: Anna Keitz(1885-1959), William (1881-1972), and May (Mary) all of whom may have lived in an orphanage for a period of time. "Young" William was in the cavalry during WW I.

I've been unable to locate this family in the 1900-1910-1920 federal census for NYS but I know that Anna was married and living in Buffalo in 1910.

If anyone has any information on any of these family members, I'd appreciate hearing from you.
What happened to Susan Follett?

I have a Susan FOLLETT who was born in Kalamazoo County Michigan about 1860. She is listed in the 1870 Michigan Kal Co Census as living with her mother and her half-brother. Her mother's name was Eliza Clark Bogardus Follett and she married a man named Follett. I do not know his name yet. She would have had 4 half brothers and sisters named, Jacob T Bogardus, Mary Ann Bogardus, Caroline Bogardus and William Bogardus. Any help in finding my little Susie would be much appreciated. Please use my E-mail address gyssee_2000@yahoo.com
Thanks Gail
