Hello all, I hope someone can help me. I'm trying to trace my grandfather (Roy Wilson Follett b. 1887 in Attleboro, Mass)'s line and have gotten as far as his great-grandfather, Robert Follett, who was a carpenter living in North Providence in 1850 and married to Frances. According to the census of that year he was 42, so he was born around 1808, location unknown. We must be descended from Robert Follett of Salem, since one or two of his children moved to the Attleboro/Rhode Island area in the early 1700s, but I can't make the definitive link. If anyone can help, my mother and I would be very grateful. Thanks!

I am looking for information on Charles U. Follett. He is listed in the 1920 census of Indianapolis with his wife Ivy and daughter Roberta.
Charles died in 1968. At the time his wife is listed as Nettie E. Owen Crayton.
His children are listed in his obituary as Ruth Cloyd, Rosemary Lawson and Floyd Crayton. What happened to Roberta? She was born ca. 1907.
Any information on any of the above would be greatly appreciated.

On the 17th, Grand Forks, Dakota, was visited with a destructive tornado. The storm came from the west and travelled due east. Twenty-five or more buildings, including the Catholic Church and the University of North Dakota, were blown to the ground. The laboratory and museum in the university were almost totally destroyed, besides hundreds of smaller dwellings, storehouses and sheds.

The following were killed outright:
Mrs. Follett and her mother Mrs. Davis

Wife: Elizabeth ENGLE; b 1848, Germany; d 1926, Rochester, NY, buried next to Christopher
Children: Edward (1869-1949), John (1872-1947), Frank (1874-1905), Mary (1876-1950), Lawrence (1879-1954) Herman (1882-1936)

Christopher immigrated to Batavia, NY about 1854, fought in the Civil War, married Elizabeth in 1869 at Sheldon, NY, moved to Michigan about 1870, died 1883 in Flint, MI. The family returned to Batavia, NY after his death.

Christopher's brothers and sister are: Edward (1842-1918), Herman (1850-1929), Katherine (1844-1945). They lived in the Batavia/Rochester, NY area during their lives.

Any help would be appreciated.

He was a Minister for a 7th Day Adventist Church for 50 years. Mr. Follett had a passion for helping the Native American by providing training to enhance their independence. He last pastored in the Forest Falls, and Mentone area. Ira graduated from Pacific Union College in Angwin, CA, with a Bachelors Degree. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lorraine Follett of Loma Linda, CA; daughters, Cherie Dale of Sonora, CA, Linda Helf of Kelowna, British Columbia and Yvonne Kapiniak of Lacombe, Alberta, Canada; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Visitation: Friday, August 31, 2007, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Services starting at 10:00 a.m., both at University Church of 7th Day Adventist, 11125 Campus, Loma Linda, CA. Interment: Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Calimesa, CA.

My grandfather was Fred Follett, born in Meridian, NY and who later moved to Mottville, NY and Utica, NY. He married Alice Feeley in 1915 had 4 daughters: A. Katherine, Genevieve (my mother), Frances and Mary. When he died 11/01/62, he was 76 and had a brother, Harold Follett still living in Auburn, NY. (I got this info. off his obit.) I am trying to find information about my Great-grandmother, Catharine Follett. The only information I have at this time is that she married Charles Dethloff on April 13, 1858 in La Porte, Indiana. Catharine died in Sandpoint, Idaho on November 16, 1935. There are disparities between her obituary and death certificate which have confused my search. Her death certificate indicates that she was born on April 10,1841 in Pennsylvania.

Rank and organization: Sergeant, Company G, 1st Missouri Light Artillery. Place and date: At New Madrid, Mo., 3 March 1862; at Stone River, Tenn., 31 December 1862. Entered service at: St. Louis, Mo. Birth: Newark, N.J. Date of issue: 19 September 1890. Citation: At New Madrid, Mo., remained on duty though severely wounded. While procuring ammunition from the supply train at Stone River, Tenn., was captured, but made his escape, secured the ammunition, and in less than an hour from the time of his capture had the batteries supplied.

I am looking for an unnamed FOLLETT. He married a woman named Eliza Clark Bogardus who was the daughter of a Thomas Clark sometime after 1848 when she became a widow. By the 1870 Kalamazoo Co Census she had to have been a widow again, but her name was then listed as Eliza FOLLETT. Also is listed as having a daughter age 10 named Susan FOLLETT. She is listed as a landowner and her eldest son by her first marriage is listed as farming her property. I believe Eliza may have married either a James FOLLETT or a Luther FOLLETT which are listed as residing in Kalamazoo area Michigan. There is also an Eliphalet FOLLETT listed in Allegan County which is close. Any help or info on these names appreciated. E-mail is

Married Delvina Bisson about 1905

George's parents according to his obituary is James and Liza (Eliza?) Miller both born in NH.
George also lived in Rollingsford, NH and South Berwick, and Berwick, Maine. I found a James and
Eliza in LDS 1880 census and i believe this is possibly my George's parents.
I am wondering if anyone has any info on these 2 that they are willing to share.

All is know is that my great grandfather's name is Fred Follett, said to be adopted, and came to Virginia from New York. This is probably in the late 1800s early 1900s. James Follett MURDERED his brother in Newfoundland

I need info on the Folletts of Grand Beach; have newspaper stories re Murder of Edward Follett by his brother James Follett (of Grand Beach). Seems that Edward was approached by James as Edward came up from his dory, James allegedly shot Edward some 68 times (in the chest), he was later tired and convicted and sent to 7 years for manslaughter. It appears that this all started as a result of something between Edward and James's wife back in Grand Beach...it is his wife that is my connection, if this is in fact the same James Follett of Grand Beach....although it seems unlikely that there might be 2 james Flooett and wife in Grad Beach. Want info on the name of the wife and the children....Mac

Joseph BAKER (born in Mass) a farmer, married Eunice FOLLETT (born in Conn) before 1815 when their son John Follett Baker was born in Delaware Co. NY, and another son Charles Baker born about 1822. I do not know whether there were any other children. Both sons married.
