I have several Benjamins in my family tree (descended from
Lazarus FOULGER bn c1860) but have recently found one (not mine - yet!) which someone may be searching for. The information I have found is:
Benjamin
FOULGER age 25, his wife Anne age 24, and son Benjamin age 1, arrived in Australia on the Samuel
Boddington in 1855.
Benjamin snr died the same year (age 27) in the parish of Camperdown (inner
Sydney) and I believe is buried at the Church of
England church,
Newtown.
Can anyone claim him? I would love to know who his parents are and where he came from. I have not been able to find further records here for baby Benjamin, and suspect he and his mother may have returned to the
UK.
