Hi
I'm convinced that the Foulger ancestory derives from Fougeres and were descended from, or at least connected with, the Ralph de Fougeres that came to England during the Norman Conquest. Ralph de Fougeres was granted land in Norfolk (and other places)and, as we know, Foulgers are numerous in Norfolk. I'm not convinced by other theories of the Foulger name being a derivative of Fulcher.
Does anybody have any evidence that might support my theory?
