Fournier family

I am looking for information on two Fournier brothers, Theodule and Francois-Xavier. They were born in Quyon, QC in 1890 and 1896 respectively. Theopdule married Alma Pelletier in Haileybury, ON in 1914 and F.X. married Margaret Currier in Espanola, ON in 1922. I am unable to find anything about them after their marriages and would appreciate help tracking what happened to them.They were brothers of my grandmother, Rose Fournier Kilby.

I am looking for information on my great great grandfather Arthur J. Fournier born in Canada in 1879 before coming to western MA. Specifically I am looking for his parents. Arthur married Edith Tetreault and together they had 5 sons and 1 daughter.

Hi Ernest, as we appear to be cousins you should call me David. I find several Louis Fourniers no Louis HOLD Fournier. The Louis that married Sara Dion appeares to have at least 15 siblings. If his parents are Louis Fournier and Marguerite Audet then we have the same family. There is a Louis married to a Marguerite Dion but it does not appear to be the one your looking for ---- I was only able to verify Joseph (Louis Joseph) your grandfather but not any of the other children you have listed ---- when was your grandfather born

I'm trying to find any siblings of my g. grandfather Louis Hold Fournier and Sara Dion. I'm new at this and could use all the help I can get. My paper trail that I have ends with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
What I show for his children are;
Arthemise,Mary,Helen,Napolian,Aurthur,Anastase & Joseph who is my grandfather.

Hi Debbie sorry it took so long to reply ---- my family line goes through Michel Fournier (20 June 1733) brother of Pierre (11 August 1726)----- as for the "Mackinaw Indian Woman" she was born in Oka, Deux Montagnes, Quebec in 1785. This was Indian territory and probably still is. Her name was Marie Josephte Rosette Cloutier and her mother was MANITOUKOUI born in the Saulteaux Nation in Quebec. She married Jacques Laramee in 1810 (a country marriage)in Mackinaw when it was under British control and came to be known as the "Mackinaw Indian Woman" that Jacques married. They later married in Penetanguishene in 1828 (a church marriage) after they were expelled from the area when the Americans took over after the tready of Ghent. This is the couple that I traced my Metis line back to although I have many other aboriginal (Metis) lines. I hope this helps.

These are a set of my 6th great grandparents. Jacques was the son of Nicolas Fournier and Marie Hubert. Several public trees suggest he was baptized 'George' on 25 May 1684 at Charlesbourg. Tanguay's dictionary (which I know has several errors) lists Jacques and George as separate individuals, at Vol. 1, p. 239. What evidence is there that 'George' and 'Jacques' are the same person?

I just read the message you posted years ago about Guillaume and Francoise Hebert.

You probably already know this, but just in case ...
in 1999, Guillaume's ancestors wrote a 60 page booklet about his life to celebrate 300 years of Fournier ancestors in the Saint-Thomas de Montmagny area. (Quebec)
It is called Les Fournier D'Amerique - Tricentenaire du deces de Guillaume Fournier premier ancetre 1699-1999
National Library of Canada ISBN 2-9806505-0-1 Aout 1999
It details his life in Quebec and lists his children. The second part of the booklet talks about other Fourniers who arrived from France and settled in other areas.
This booklet was published by L'Association des Fournier d'Amerique and lists Armelle Fournier as the researcher.

You can also google L'Assocation des Fournier d'Amerique and look up a few things in English as well.

Specifically, I believe he was the father of Magloire Fournier (b 1823 Montmagny Canada, m Flavie Langois, d. 1894 in Iberville Canada) but I can't make a connection. As a descendent of Louis Hebert b.1575-1627, I show the following descendents to be Guillaume HEBERT who married Helen DESPORTES, then Francoise HEBERT who married Guillaume FOURNIER, B. 1619-D.1699. The geneaology tree then follows on to Simon FOURNIER who married Anne Catherine ROUSSEAU, then Marie Anne FOURNIER, m.1726 to Francois BOUFFARD, from there it is the BOUFFARDS=GENDRON, BOUFFARD-GODBOUT, BOUFFARD-BONNEAU, BOUFFARD-POULIOT, BOUFFARD-CONGDON, CONGDON-WEDEL, CONGDON-SLATER,

GUILLAUME FOURNIER, married to FRANCOIS HEBERT, HAD 13 children, ONE OF WHICH WAS LOUIS, B.24, D.1674. Could this be the Louis you are looking for? It appears your Louis lived later, since this is back in the 1600s. ???

Emma was the daughter of William Fournier & Helen Oronfield. She was married William Bouvier, (Fred & Eliza Trudeau), may. 06, 1925, in unknown, NY.
Father of William was William and Emma Mailoux. They were married 04 09/1900, in Fall River, Ma.

Wiliam was son of Pierre Fournier & Julie Menard, were married about 1850 in Plattsburg, New-York State.

I have the marriage of Eva Fournier. She was born in Muskegon. MI., daughter of Calixte Fournier and Odile Langlois, whom have emigrated from Montmagny, Quebec to Michigan.
Eva was born in Muskegon. MI. She married Thomas Lawrence son of JOhn Lawrence and Elizabeth Grondin, September 27, 1906, in Tomahawk, WI, I don't know she haw remarried.

I don't know if you have an answer since the time of your query.
I'm genealogist for the Fournier Association and I have some onformation for this family.
Calixte Fournier (Raymond and Léa Pauzé) married Odile Langlois (Charles Langlois and Désanges Simoneau) September 23 1879 in Cap St-Ignace, Quebec. They emigrated in Michigan after their marriage. Eva and Goldie Marguerite, their daughters were born in Muskegon, MI.
Eva married Thomas Lawrence (John and Elizabeth Grand) 27/09/1906, in Tomahawk, WI and Marguerite married Leo Arnson Almont (Melvin and Emma Dows) october 7 1903 in Tomahawk also.
I don't find the death for these persons or a second marriage for Eva.

I'm genealogist for the Fournier of Association and I have the family of Guillaume Fournier and Clara Duquette.
Guillaume Fournier parent's were Pierre Fournier and Eleonore Painchaud from the descendancy of Guillaume Fournier and Françoise Hébert.
I have retraced 11 children for Guillaume and Clara, but few marriages for them. I have Pierre married Edna Bergeron; Annie married Js Wilfrid Verrier and Donat married Lorette Piché.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I have seen the birth connecting Zenon to Xavier Fournier in Marieville, but since I can't find any of his relatives in Hopkinton, NY, and do not have any way I can think of to connect him to Xenon Fournier OTHER THAN that one document, I want more proof. See my tree with him under Saunders Family. Look for Henry Joseph Fuller, his son, born 1852 in Vergennes, Vermont. You will be able to go backwards to Ezra (Zenon) Fuller (Fournier) from there. I am still stuck because what if they came from Nova Scotia and went into Massachusetts? I am trying to confirm what I have attached to the tree. Suggestions?

I'm genealogist for the Fournier Association. I had very difficult to retrace the ancestors of Victor Fournier and Marie Pitre.
Victor was born in 1864 in Shediac, NB, son of Marcel Fournier and Marguerite Lavoie.

Marcel and Marguerite Lavoie were married 18/08/1856,in Van Buren, ME. I don't have found the parents of Marguerite Lavoie. Marcel Fournier was born 15/10/1831, in St-Jean-Port-Joli, son of Amable Fournier and Véronique Dubé. He was baptized under the name of François. The hic in this family it is exist two François Marcel. The first François married Julie Mercier. The second toke the name of Marcel and married Marguerite Lavoie.

I wish exchange information on your family and that I have on my database. I don't have any info for the family of Wilfred Fournier and Alice Perry.

It's seem that Adrian or Andrew is the same person. Adrian (Andrew)Fournier married Anna Pietrusinski 15/09/1914 in Standish, MI. His parents were Adrian Fournier and Philommena Tetro, married about 1886 in Standish, MI.
Adrian parents's are John-Baptiste Fournier and Theotiste Leclerc from Ste-Ursule, Quebec.

I have just one child for Andrew & Anna Pietrusinski in my database. Do you know some others children for this couple?

It exist effectively many Zenon Fournier in Quebec.

Your Zenon Fournier (Ezra Fuller) was born and baptized March 28 1835, in Marieville, Quebec, son of François Xavier Fournier & Martine Tétreault.
He married Caroline Jodoin, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Jodoin & Louise Robidoux, October 24, 1853, in Burlington, VT.
I have found 8 children for Zenon and Caroline. It's semm that 3 of them were born in Vermont and 5 others in New-York State but I have found just one marriage of their children.
